I just had this proceadure done yesterday with Dr. Friedman. I travelled from Houston to Dallas to see him because I loved the before and afters I saw on real self so I feel obligated to share my results! Dr Friedman and his office staff were amazing! Everyone was so nice and made you feel so comfortable! The proceadure is done in office under local and is don't fairly quickly. Maybe 45 minutes total with prep. I got a shot in my chin to numb it then Dr Friedman injects fluid. This is the most painful part. I would compare the pain to a bikini wax. The numbing liquid they inject kicks in pretty quickly and once it does you do not feel anything. I had this done yesterday so I am swollen but I am very happy with what I've seen so far! I am going to follow his instructions to the T as I want the best results! The chin compression garment is very uncomfortable but necessary! I will update in about a week to see where I am.

Wow you hardly have any swelling ! It looks great ! I had mine done a week ago . Still pretty swollen ....

Did you swell right away? I had it done Friday I have one small bruise on jaw and mild swelling but I'm wondering if it takes a few days. This compression garment will be the end of me

My swelling wasn't that bad the day after but it's been pretty swollen since then but I'm 40 and my skin isn't as taut as yours is . Yours looks great . Mine has a ways to go but definitely a huge improvement .

One day, probably today or tomorrow, it's going to itch like a mother! That is the numbness wearing off. It is short lived and leaves as quickly as it comes. I thought it was the compression garment, thank goodness it's not because you have to wear it for three weeks! I'm in the middle of my third week post op. Still swollen and numb but I see results and I am way swollen. When you take off the compression garment for the first time you will look at you neck and be so happy! That too is short lived as once that sucker is removed, the swelling begins! I'm trying to wear mine as much as possible throughout the day, and when I sleep. Good luck, happy results!

I'm over the itching thank goodness! Yes I can tell I'm more swollen today then I have been. Usually in the morning my garment slips off at night and I keep waking up! I wish I was at 3 weeks this thing drives me crazy!

Wow I have a jawline! I didn't know it existed! I am still swollen but omg such a huge difference! Before pic is not great but that was day of surgery same side!

wow! you are starting to look much better! I have some questions. Was your double chin hereditary? Did you have a lot of excess fat left? Did they give you any treatment for tightening?

Hi Angela double chin and hanging jowls run in my family but I did gain weight after 2 kids. I have to wear a compression garment for 2 weeks all day and night and then for another 2 weeks at night to help the skin tighten.

The pain after is just feeling really sore. I didn't bruise but there is some swelling.
Wow, I already see a big difference. I look forward to your updates, keep them coming and be sure to include any recovery tips that you have.
