Kybella Treament; Progress Shots (27-Year-Old)
ORIGINAL POST
I finally decided to bite the bullet and get this...
WORTH IT$1,990
I finally decided to bite the bullet and get this done. I've had a non-existent jawline my entire life with a small pouch. Even at my skinnest and most athletic I have always had this. Genetics can be obnoxious. All the women have the double chin in our family.
So far I am very impressed! Nothing came as a shock or surprise as you can find information online or read reviews. I will be blunt. You WILL look like a bullfrog. You will swell, have bruising, some pain, and tingling/numbness. Embrace it or take days off. I took a few days off of work. After four days, people do not even notice.
To me, I had a noticeable bulge but no one even cared or noticed until I pointed it out. I am still healing and not fully back to m baseline. The worst of the swelling happens the day AFTER the procedure. It's entertaining as the first few days the fat wiggled and jiggles before solidifying into a hard nodule. (I have been massaging my alien baby nodule to help like you would a lymphatic massage per suggestion of my nurse mother. It helps!)
The more swelling the better as that means it will work better! After a week most people did notice the change. It's been 22 days and I am still slightly swollen but almost back to my baseline. I am excited to see official results!
I plan on getting my second treatment when I have time to take off a few days from work. Definitely going through with it as I came this far. From what I have heard, the second time around is not as bad in terms of swelling too.
I am pleased and cannot wait to see long-term results.

Your chin looks bigger after the treatment !

Yes...that's part of the process? Lol. I have a very dainty chin but okay.
Do you know about Kybella? You swell. Thus the bullfrog look for a while. It goes down after a few weeks. No one automatically heals and dispels fat in a day. That would be impossible for any body and I am not a super human! It's day 5. Relax. I'm still swollen. That's why it appears bigger.
That's why I'm posting progress photos. So people can recognize the swelling WILL go down as time goes on.
Please refer to all my previous posts. I post before and after my Kybella 1 treatment. :/ You do not stay like a bullfrog forever.
Goodness. No one would ever get the treatment then. Haha.
I don't reallt mind either way if I can avoid jowls in my aging years. Would choose a bigger chin over that. Working in mental health or Geriatrics you see a lot.

Also, if you look further down in my posts you would note this was still a part of the healing process. This was like not even a month out from first treatment at the time.

I know...But now, do you see a big difference between the "before" and the "after " ?

As I've said in various comments. You need multiple treatments.
I have seen a difference in myself. So has family. Ive gotten commemts that my face appears slimmer. I'm not sure what answer you're looking for but my results worked and are currently underway for round 2. It's not meant to be wildly drastic the first round of treatment.
I cannot really give you a full okay until the swelling is fully down.

Just wanted to add they recommend immediate icing on and off now. They gave me an ice roller after treatment 2. I guess there was a big meeting and everything. :)

How many vials did they use? My Derm is recommending 3-4 vials per treatment and do it 2-3x. At that price, lipo is cheaper (and more effective).

3-4 I believe. I think I got 4 the first treatment and 3 the second. Second treatment heals faster and there's like millions of injections. Didn't feel a thing though due to numbing injections first!
Whatever floats your boat. :) Mine cost 2,000 which is far cheaper than Lipo in my opinion. Most lipo is the same. It's the same price really. I also didn't WANT any invasive procedures which is the entire point of why I went this route. No surgery. I do not want any surgery near my face unless medically necessary or have to worry about the potential of sagging skin. They also recommend Kybella in your 20's to 30's for that reason as skin is more resilient.
If you are an impatient person I do not suggest this route either because it is not immediate results. It takes months of healing, multiple treatments, and total fat annilihation permanently. You will look ugly for a while but it's worth it in the long run for me and no one even noticed.

Day 1
I am posting this so people can get an accurate picture of what to expect the day after treatment. You're going to look like a freak but it's worth it!
This is an immediate after treatment and day after swelling. At its worst.

does this hurt?

March 20, 2018
Nah. Not if you get numbing injections. Just more weird feeling. If no numbing then might burn when getting injections.

I don’t see any difference. If there is I don’t think I would pay the money for the result. Are you happy with the result?

March 20, 2018
That's pretty rude. :/ If you actually look through the photos and not the obvious swollen ones where the healing process is occurring then you would notice. I'm not sure what the point of your comment is if you're here to put me down in some manner. Very odd. Not sure why you would ask any questions about the process considering you show no interest. Unless you have a weird fetish for needles? I'm. Might wanna go back to 4chan for that.
People notice in real life and not just internet photos.
It's not supposed to be drastically different either. That's not the point of Kybella. It's supposed to be natural. If I wanted to look like I had plastic surgery and go an invasive route then I would have. This is a atirally occurring acid in our body used to demolish the fat.
Yes obviously I am happy with the result which is why I have posted progress photos and explained so in multiple posts. Herp a derp.

Wow! I definitely see a vast improvement! I'm happy that it was a positive experience for you! Congratulations!

Your results are great! That swelling part right after scared me a little when I had it done but it healed up fine after a few days. Congrats on your results!

Your results look beautiful! Kybella is such a fascinating product, I wish it were cheaper, but hey, not much cosmetic is cheap. Great results, I really see a big improvement.

Progression.
Here's some other progress shots as time went by. I wore a scarf the first week a lot. Minimal bruising.

How are you liking it now?

Also I did minimal ice packs as sometimes it can counterproductive with swelling for things like this. I did however raise my chin while sleeping and rub the area once it formed into a fat flesh lump often lol.
