I am having a breast lift and implant surgery on Friday, I am so nervous!! I am 5'3" 133lbs and going witch 500cc silicone implants. I am second guessing the lift cause of the scarring. Anyone else out there have same concerns?? My surgery is three days away and I have minimal sagging. I will post pics later today

I understand your concerns with the scars from the lift. I have three kids with breast similar to yours. I past the pencil test. But I went on 2 consultation and both surgeons said I need a lift.

Well two my surgery is two days away.....i am excited yet nervous. I have wanted this for ten years and have finally saved up enough to go through with it! Still very unsure about the lift,my areolas are large and i do want them smaller, doc wants to do lollipop lift but I am wondering if a donut lift would be beneficial. To me it seems logical cause there is alot less scarring involved. What to do? Can someone plz give me their opinion on which lift i need!

Your worries are understandable in the sense of scaring. I had three consults with different ps an choose the one that suggested an anchor lift. Because my reason for having a surgery in the first place was because I hate my saggy boobs. And I defiantly didn't want bigger saggy boons". So I kind of mentally accepted the scares in exchange for saggy boobs. It's something you have to ask yourself... What's gonna make you happy.. Good luck xx

If your PS suggested a lift I would get it. It is not that bad a of a recovery. I needed a lift as well. My surgeon did a lollipop lift on one and the anchor on the other. My children are younger than yours,4, 2 and 1... I was at my parents for the weekend after my surgery and it was a good idea. You need that time by yourself to heal. By day four when I came home after my surgery and I was good. You will feel better after one week and after two weeks even better. I went back to work at the third week, I'm a hairdresser and it was not that bad. Just had some back pain between my shoulder blades. The scarring from the lift will heal enough to where you were barely even notice. A friend of mine who had hers done five years ago I could barely see her scarring. I wouldn't even call them scars. So I would not worry about it. I started my scar treatment with scar away silicone strips. They were good but it's just a pain to put them on. You have to take them off and shower and clean them and reuse him. It was kind of a pain so I did some research online and found A silicone-based cream that comes in a Chapstick form. It is called Pro-sil. You could go to their website and they will mail you a sample to try it out before you purchase it. Good luck with your surgery tomorrow can't wait to see results.

Thank u so much. YOur advice is helpful!! I guess some scarring is worth the end results...i'm just confused cause I've seen three ps and one says no lift needed, one says donut lift and the third says full lift!! So this is where my confusion comes from. I will prob go with full lift and b done with it. So i guess my next reply will b post op! Wish me luck!

Well i have just about everything together and ready to go. My wonderful hubby is taking me friday and my kids will b staying with our friends for the whole weekend! Ive said it before and i will say it again,i eithet have to be in hospital Or have surgery to get a weekend to myself!!! Lol! Jk,my kids are awesome, they are 14,10,7 and 6. I think my 14 yr old Son is more nervous than I am!! Still deciding on the lift. I am very confident in Dr. Heil,he is a very soft spoken gentle doc and I trust him 150% he comes highly recommended. I am just very very worried about the scarring. Oh,btw,i am having 500cc silicone mod plus placed under the muscle. The other reason for my concerns with the lift is the added time it takes to heal,i have four kids. And hubby will be with me fri thru mon then back to work tues. So i will have to get my kids up and off to school. Anyone out there have same issues, and if so how did it go? I would love a docs opinion on if a donut lift would do the job or if i can get away with out a lift! Plz help,my surgery is paid for and non refundable so theres no turning back!!!!!
