Healing well. Still having open wounds at the top of the incision and lot of swelling in my legs.

Went to surgeon and he reassured me the separation was okay and not to worry. I have large swollen areas both inner knees. He said they were seromas and needed to be drained. Took a ginormous needle and aspirated both. Not pleasant. Also said hopefully they will not fill again but if they do, he will have to drain again. No new pictures until the compression wraps are off.

Progressing along. Still having issues with the separation of the incision high up in the groin but no worse than last week, just no better.

You must be thrilled. Fantastic results and you're not even three weeks post op. Well done.

Thank you. I am very pleased with the results so far. Still having problems with the areas of separation that are still not closing but not getting any worse. The support from this site is very helpful and greatly appreciated .

Congrats! You look great. I just had my lower body lift done this morning, along with a breast augmentation :)

Congrats and fast healing! I am curious about the breast augmentation. Considering having the skin on arms removed and using it for an auto augmentation. Not anytime soon.

I am now ready to go with my transformation, too. Got family doc approval today. You have given me much encouragement - thank you. I have enjoyed following you from before surgery to now and in the future. Come to my journal - I just posted it today.

WOW - WHAT A DIFFERENCE !!!
You must be soooo proud of your new body.
There are still open wounds - it will heal.
Could the swelling in the legs be caused by a little too much activity on your feet?
I am sure you are tired of just sitting around (I would be) ...
I have just read a lot of other people who have a lot of swelling a month post-op cause they are being too active.
I don't know from experience yet since I'm 7 weeks pre-op.
Also, read that it is common, with that surgery, in the location of your wounds - that it takes a little more time to heal.
Hang in there ... You are doing GREAT !!!
