How it works
  • Our highly-trained Review Moderation team evaluates all reviews before they're published to ensure they're written by people like you and not a member of a doctor's office.
  • This multi-step process takes up to 24 hours from review submission to publication.
  • Doctors can't pay to have reviews removed or hidden.

More details

I'm new to the website, so I didn't know I could write more than my previous post. :)

But, to go into further detail, I have a lot of issues since having my BA. I didn't research and only went off of one referral. Now I find out the PS I used has 15 malpractice cases against him and most leave poor reviews.

I wanted to go under the muscle, but he said I should go over. I now wish I would have gotten several opinions and went elsewhere. I chose him because he was inexpensive at the time, and I had waited so long to be able to get it done... I urge anyone who is thinking about having a BA (or any surgery) to please do your research. This website is great for information, and I'm glad I have it now so I can read other's reviews and relate to issues I'm having myself.

My implants have bottomed out, and are too far into the sides of my body. When I have clothing on without a bra, it looks like I'm very small in the chest. The scarring is also painful, and after all of these years I still get shooting pains and still very itchy in the area. I'm not sure why my PS didn't use dissolvable stitches. Anyone I've spoken to about my issues aren't sure why as well. I think the removal of the stitches made my scarring worse than it could have been, because he ripped them out causing small holes which bled, and eventually keloid. He wasn't gently. I saw one review online where they called him "Frankenstein" hands. :( I assumed my incision would be smaller too, since it was saline, and not silicone.

I wasn't drawn on at all. I always assumed you would before surgery?... but I guess I was wrong. We also didn't discuss implant profiles. To be honest, at the time I only assumed there were two type of implants... saline and silicone... but now I know there are are profiles you need to consider once you pick a type.

I currently wear a 34D in VS push-up bras. If there's no padding, I think I would fit a C there. I'm sure my actual measurements are "32", but I like the 34 on the tightest hook - plus it's more in stock than 32s. I only wear push ups bras because if I don't have much support underneath, I have pain from the implant being too low. I want to go a big larger, so I could wear a bra that's more "sexy" and without padding. I can only wear push up bikinis as well. The triangle tops make me look flat, and I have 0 cleavage. That's also something I want to address on my revision.

Now, I am in the process of trying to find the right PS to correct these issues, and allow myself to feel comfortable, and the way I wanted to feel over 6 years ago when I underwent my first surgery.

I want to move from saline to silicone. My current saline implants feel very fake... and since they have bottomed out, you can't really "squeeze" them. Also, to move over the muscle to under. I would love to hear of anyone else having these issues and are thinking of revision.. or anyone who has already had their revision.

Thanks for reading! :)

Went from A/B cup to full C. The implants used were Allergan smooth saline implants (360cc overfilled to 375cc over muscle). Unhappy with results. Hoping to get a revision soon from a different Doctor to fix the issues I've had since day one. Also, I want to switch to silicone, and go a bit larger (D cup).

Horrible experience. I unfortunately went off of one recommendation instead of looking up more reviews online. I went in hoping to place the implant under the muscle since I am thin and petite, and do not have much breast tissue, but he told me he would only do over... and over is the ONLY way to go (in his eyes). Even up until the day before surgery I asked if I could go under but he said no. I was young at the time, and once I found out I was approved for financing I didn't want to risk losing it if I tried another surgeon. I was so caught up in the excitement of having larger breasts that I lost sight of the repercussions of using a bad Doctor. Looking at many reviews online, and even watching the shows on television, you always see the Doctors draw on you before surgery. He drew nothing. Maybe this is okay, but it didn't turn out okay. He didn't use dissolvable stitches either. When getting them removed, he tugged on them and ripped them out very quickly. It was painful and made little holes which bled for days. I still believe this is why the scarring is so severe. I've grown from the experience and now know how powerful the internet can be. If you look up this Doctor now, you will see he has 15 malpractice cases against him, and all reviews are very poor and agree to stay far from him. I wish I knew what I do now. But the next Doctor I will use, I will research and learn from the terrible mistakes this Doctor did. Please, PLEASE do not use him. I have severe keloid scarring that is very long, even though he used saline implants... which technically should have smaller incisions. I get shooting pains in the scar even to this day. Still itchy, too. My scars are NOT in the crease, and they were like this since day 1. I've only known and have seen my implants with huge scars towards the bottom of them. My implants have bottomed out, and the pockets he made are too large - so my breasts shift to the side causing pain without a bra. Whoever you use, please do your research heavily before committing.
