Hi all, I shall tell you my experience with Mr T...

Hi all, I shall tell you my experience with Mr T Woolford the ENT specialist who did my nose job.

I went to Mr Woolford after he was highly recommended to me by a couple of acquaintances who had rhinoplasty done by him. But I also did my own independent research to make sure I went to a proper ENT Board Qualified (in the UK specialist register) surgeon in the UK, as there are plenty of people out there doing nose jobs who are not specialist register ENT surgeons and who might give one a pretty looking nose but what good would that be if one cannot breath through it afterwards. I simply wanted the best. I found out that Mr Woolford is a Professor of ENT at a top University Hospital in Manchester with plenty of research publications to his name so he is by all accounts up to date with recent ENT and rhinoplasty developments; this is the sort of professional that I was looking to find to opérate on my nose. As I also have difficulty breathing through my nose so I wanted to make sure the rhinoplasty would not make that worse. Mr Woolford recommended a septorrhinoplasty for me; something only a proper ENT surgeon with aesthetic training/experience could do well IMHO.

I am now two weeks post op. My breathing through the nose is improving all the time and the swelling is already mínimal. The bump at the bridge of the nose has almost gone. Mr Woolford says that as the swelling goes down the nose will look straight and natural and it is already going that way at this early stage since the operation.

I found Mr Woolford to be very friendly and genuine with excellent bedside manners and also very caring. He put my mind at easy when I first met him. We discussed the rhinoplasty aspect of the operation and he said he did not want to give my nose an operated look. I totally agreed on that with him so I left it up to Mr Woolford to suggest the best surgical approach to give me a more aesthetically pleasing nose. I just put myself in his hands and let him get on with it. I found Mr Woolford to be an honest, and serious ENT surgeon who did not pressurised me at all into having the operation. I know he did everything he could to improve my nose appearance. I also found out in the course of my preliminary investigations that Mr Woolford is very well known in the NW of England and enjoys an excellent professional reputation. I would not hesitase in recommending Mr Woolford as one of the best rhinoplasty surgeons in the UK.
