A physician who treats Artefill (Bellafill) disasters

Thank you for this review, Linda! I'm so glad you are happy with the correction of your filler (done by another provider). While I don't do Artefill or Bellafill in my office, I certainly do see people who need help correcting it. I'm glad you are happy and that I've been able to assist with fixing it for you.

I had Bellafill injected in my face (six syringes). Worst mistake ever. Was told it was dissolvable if I didn’t like it and promised not to overfill back in January of this year. Fast forward till now I have a very asymmetrical face. Right lower cheeks very puffy along with a nodule under right eye and several lumps along forehead that seem to be migrating down onto my eyebrows causing more droopy eyes. I have been going to a PS that has injected steroids and 5FU in the lumps and bumps and has helped some more than others. Dr is very conservative and doesn’t want me to do to many treatments as could possibly cause atrophy. I’ve had two treatments on some and three on some. Any thoughts on that? Also, what could be done to minimize the puffier lower cheek. I guess it’s both. Cheek and lower part of face. Any information you can offer will be greatly appreciated.

I have lumps under my eyes and in my forehead all around where are skin is thin. I look like the character from the movie mask. I am so upset and wished I never spent the money on this in 2013. Had tried 2 mos of antibiotic and 3 weeks of a steroid. I am glad to hear that 5FU is working for you but that is my last resort. Still having to do more research, i feel like I would like to speak to a few facial plastic surgeons.
