Still numbness and tingling
$14,000
As they say "time heals" and following this type of surgery healing is so individual. I was lucky and had minimal bruising and no pain but 8 weeks post op all looks fine, but I still have numbness in front of ears and soreness (not pain) along cheek bones and tingling and burning between upper ears and outer eye area. I assume this is the nerves regenerating.
I have also noticed some sutures coming through although supposedly dissolvable. Still using heat packs which I don't know if doing any good but feels good and comfortable. Had botox 1 week ago above eyebrow area and outer eyes which is a little too early to see much difference but definitely some improvement.
Would I do it again??? Definitely.

Still improving
Outer eyes improving with less drag than was there initially and will be trying some Botox around 'crows feet' and forehead as opposed to further surgery as recommended by surgeon.

Hi K, well you look gorgeous. You definately look younger and must be pleased. Are you home? Very good of you to have used the V pillow so long. I found sleeping upright all too hard once I got home and did it for just a couple more weeks.I am now 9 weeks post but I am not too happy. I also have a lot of skin droop under my chin...although I eexpected this, it is more than I am happy with. I also have virtually all the wrinkles back in my forehead that I started with, now that swelling has subsided and I have sent photos and comments to my doc. He does not reply personally, bit his rep has been saying wait till April and resend photos.....not happy with that and a few other comments. My neck and cheeks are ok. Generally most people at home have not seen any change in me, but I am ok with that.

Well have to agree once swelling went down skin has loosened up a little disappointed with area under chin and neck although still a great improvement. Glad I didn't have brow lift but have today had a little botox at side of eyes, and above eyebrows so will see if this lifts the area and helps with the 'crows feet' which I didn't have before surgery. I have also had small stitches coming through which didn't dissolve but saw my GP and the practice nurse snipped them. No infection or concern at this time. Most people who knew have been very positive and a few who didn't have commented My holiday must have good as I look 'really well' LOL....
Hope things improve with yourself. Just look at the before photos to see the difference that is what I do as I forget haha.

Day 17
After debating with myself shoul I or should I not have brow lift which was booked today I have cancelled as just not emotionally ready for another surgery on my face. Have healed well todate with obviously still swelling and numbness. Still not happy with outer eye area but don't feel this was the doctors fault. He did not want or feel I needed the brow lift pre op. Have decided to return to Australia wait a few months, and if needed research costs at home and overseas.
Will try Botox first to see if this slightly lifts brow and corner of eye, even though temporary but far less invasive.

You're looking great! I'm sure you made the right decision to not have further surgery at this stage. It really does take months for your face to 'settle'. Even after 7 months, I can't bear the thought of further surgery to my face :( Take care!

Yes Sydney feel relieved I didn't have further surgery at this time. I am actually feeling a little 'sore' at wound sites so think nerves are reconnecting. Not painful just sensitive.
