Hello! I'm getting a nose job finally as I've wanted to get a rhinoplasty since grammar school. I'm 31years old now and I've decided that I'm not getting any younger so here I go! I'm planning my procedure with a well known doc in the Philipenes because he specializes in ethnic rhinoplasties; not that I don't trust the docs here in the US but I came across this doc from a girl on Realself and started my research on Dr. Yapjuanco right away. He has all the creditials and has seen hundreds of patients and their results are super natural and not overly done. I'm scheduled in September so if anyone wants to buddy up feel free to contact me.

Hey, I have had my rhinoplasty done with Dr Yap I have a ethnic noses/ thick skin etc and honestly for me personally I am so unhappy with my nose and the lack of patient records. The amount of patients taken on is actually ridiculous and gives greater room for careless mistakes. The clinic (although currently closed due to patient death and inconsistencies amongst clinic records) is highly unorganised with surgeries, follow ups and consultations back to back all day. Guaranteed a few hours wait for every visit.
I am currently waiting for my one year mark to get revision. I have an extremely uneven collumella from awful stitching and many of his patients will tell you the same, request images from below the nose angles and alar sides and just a real bulky bulbous nose (a lot worse then what I went to him with).
He has no files or reports so he nor I have no clue what he did to my face, I know this because I asked for my preoperative notes and got sent completely fabricated report with all made up procedures some of which such as implant removal are complete rubbish because I've never had an implant in.
Does it not bother you as a surgeon he is uploading before/after with straight mug shots for pre op pics, with no make up or filters but the 'improved' post op pics have filters, great lighting, make up and more flattering angles. I believe that is a massive deception, the factors making the pictures incomparable.
My advice would be to ask for before/after pics with no filters make up and flattering angles post op if you choose to go ahead with Yappy. Images of collumella/ alar post op to see stitching and scarring..
There are great rhinoplasty surgeons in Europe, I am now looking at Turkey and Belgium the prices are still considerably lower but the surgeons are extremely skilled. Cheaper is not always better, as I have discovered the hard way, there is literally not a day I don't wake up and regret going to Icon Clinic. It takes such an emotional toll on you emotionally, I hate leaving my home now.

Hey I'm am trying to book with him but I saw that he does incisions on the nostrils which are visible. Yours doesn't look like that I can't see scarring. What did you as him to do? And did he use your cartilage ? Is scarring visible?
