When the cast was removed it was very swollen at the beginning and it looked like I had an upturned nose (piggy nose). I am loving the results now as days go by. I think the change is minimal, and it is exactly what I wanted. MAKE SURE you and your doctor are on the same page on what you want done.

Update. 3 weeks post op
It has been 3 weeks since my surgery, and so far I like the results. Like I've said, my original nose wasn't too bad so there's minimal change as far as I can tell. Work done was tiplasty, alarplasty and the bridge was raised a bit with the insertion of goretex implant. Dr. Eric Yapjuangco is a skilled surgeon, that is for sure.
There are a lot factors for your rhinoplasty to be succesful. I had realistic expectations before all this started so it gives little room for disappointment. Second, you have to give your body time to heal (swelling etc.). Post op care is also very important. After my surgery I was very concerned about infection and how my body would react to the goretex implant. I religiously cleaned the stitches around the nose, strictly followed all post op instructions and made sure I was in top shape and perfect health to allow my body to heal nicely.
SURGERY - I stayed in Manila for 3 weeks and had to fly out of the country afterwards. I was the last patient that day, I think there were 3 or 4 people before me -I'm not too sure. After the surgery when I woke up, I did not feel nauseatious nor did i feel cold. I was just sleepy that's all. I stayed at the hospital for 2 nights, I think this is a better deal than staying at a hotel. I've only seen Dr. Eric 3 times, the day before my surgery, on surgery day and after surgery (follow up/stitch removal). He has a lot of patients, and consultations are a bit rushed. Be prepared to wait for hours.
Now, I know some of Dr. Eric's patients are unhappy with their results...and the reason for why their rhinoplasties failed I do not know. I am not defending him or anything, I am just speaking from my own experience and so far I am happy with how everything turned out. But I have to admit I hated what my nose looked like when the cast came off. I just gave it time for the swelling to subside.
For anyone who wishes to undergo rhinoplasty, please do your research first. If it's something you really want to do then go for it. But know the risks involved. As for me I took a chance, had faith in my doctor and I turned out well. I cannot say everyone's outcome will be the same.
Hope this helps.

This really helps I want to book for May. You stayed at the hospital then flew home? Or afterwards you we’re at a hotel. I’m from north’s America and not sure how accommodations are down there.
And what do you do to prevent infection?
And what do you do to prevent infection?
I stayed in the Philippines for 3 weeks then I had to fly back home. After the surgery, the clinic will ask you to come back for follow up check up on day 3, day 7 and day 14.. so I guess 3 weeks is enough (some people stay in the country for only 2 weeks I don't recommend that, esp. when something goes wrong and you need after care)
I stayed at the hospital for 2 nights, (this is inclusive of 3 meals and round the clock check up by nurses) Then I had to check out of the hospital on day 3. Lucky for me I have family in the Philippines so I stayed with relatives for the rest of my stay. If you are booking a hotel the decent ones are priced at around $150 US. The really fancy ones are priced at $300 or higher. Most of them already includes breakfast.
To prevent infection, make sure you strictly follow post op instructions. The nurses will show you how to clean your nose and how often to clean it. And take all medications. It also helps to be healthy before and after the surgery. I took vitamin C, drank tons of water and pineapple juice (to reduce swelling).

Wow thanks for the reply that really helped. They said staying 10 days is ok but I appreciate your detailed review it’s really helpful.
How much you pay per day for staying at the hospital?
I paid 1,700 philippine peso which is around US $35 per day. But their clinic has already moved to another location & not sure if they will admit patients overnight.

I changed my mind.
I have given up on this. It is so hard to get a hold of them. I've sent emails to confirm my appointment and no one ever answers back. I tried their phone numbers, Viber and Facebook account and still no response. No patient or potential client should ever feel ignored by any clinic. I am feeling more like a pest if I persist in reaching out to them. So yeah, I am done chasing after this. As of now I am requesting for a refund on my deposit and looking at other another doctor instead.

hi! how’s your surgery with Dr Eric?did u go push it through or not?
I did went through with it! I'll post before and after photos soon. I'm still in the process of healing
goodluck to that..hope it will be the best result..not like mine that I truly regret
Hi, what's wrong with your nose? I had mine done on Dec 19 and i'm 20 days post op now, so far so good. My face is just breaking out but my nose is beyond my expectation. I think it's still swelling and the final result will be seen in 6 months - 1 year.
Omg same happened to me they kept sending me to different people i felt completely neglected
Wait just read your comments I'm completely split on where to go can u please make an update or explain why u changed your mind? And decided to do it ?? I'm literally in the same predicament
Hello. I booked my surgery and paid for the 10% deposit way back in May 2017. After that, I emailed them for a confirmation but didn't get a response (I tried emailing them for months that's why i changed my mind it seemed like they weren't going to respond). They only reached out to me like a week before my preferred surgery date. Their coordinator is really a gong show got my dates and name mixed up many times. But hey I decided I'll do the surgery anyway they said the date I wanted was open. Loving the results so far. But the office is a mess they need to hire someone better.
