For as long as I can remember I've hated the hereditary double chin I received from my father. Double chins are the worst but imagine being 110 pounds and still having one? That has been my predicament my entire life. At the age of 23, I decided I wanted to do something about it. I made appointments all over and decided upon Dr. Brenman in Philadelphia, Pa. A couple days before my procedure I weighed in at 113 and took pictures of myself.

Thank you so much! It wasn't painful but it was uncomfortable. There are a lot of videos on youtube where they show you exactly how the procedure is!

It was 4k, pricey i know but so worth it. I highly - highly recommend you make an appointment with Dr Brenman.

I understand how you felt about your double chin. I'm 120. I'm thin, I eat well and exercise, but no matter what my chin does not good down. :( how did you feel and look after 7 days. I'm taking a week off work but I need to know if that is long enough. I have to wear my hair up or pulled back at work. Do you have any pointers? Thank you for your time :) you look great!

Ugh I'm sorry you have to deal with the same situation! I think a week is definitely a good allotment. I was semi-okay after the first day but by day 4 I was almost 100%. I don't know what to say about having your hair up because I didn't bruise and I've heard that's pretty uncommon, scarfs is definitely your go to, if you do. Probiotics that you should take to help with bruising and swelling: Arnica Montana and Bromelain.

The smart lipo procedure was a breeze. I highly recommend everyone to take the medicine prescribed - it completely takes off the edge. The procedure was done in less than an hour and the Dr. Brenman walked me out to the uber that was driving me home. I took the pills right as I got home and went to bed. Sporadically throughout the day Ive been taking pictures to see and it looks amazing so far.

I'm 5 days out and I feel great! Bruising has started, but nothing make up can't cover up. I would do it 100 x over again because the result is amazing and its only going to get better.

Oh the bruising starts later? I hope makeup can cover it. Wouldn't want people to think I was hit! How about the swelling? I heard it's worse around day 5.

It does look like the after affects of someone trying to strangle me. . . haha but make up will work. I have noticed an increase in swelling today but I've been wearing my compression all day.

I have started to swell and its noticeable in my face but I have absolutely no bruising. As you can see from recent pictures, I am very fair so this is a huge and just goes to show how incredible Dr. Brenman is. Ill update with pics when swelling goes down.

I posted an update! Lots of swelling and it does hurt with pressure but I've been massaging it a lot to help.
