I've thought about wanting bigger breasts since I was 16 years old. I've looked at before & after pictures regularly. I began to get serious about surgery last May & started researching surgeons. I talked to people I know that have had it done; about their experience, their surgeons, the recovery process, etc...A friend at work recommended I read Dr. Eisenberg's The Scoop on Breasts to round out my research.

I did a review on Amazon but I want to add here, this was a fun, informative read. A little tongue in cheek but full of great information. I read it last June & read it again the week before my first appointment with Dr. Eisenberg. READ IT! Even if for no other reason than to learn some things you may not otherwise learn before having surgery. This book will help you in your process.

I narrowed my search down to three doctors I wanted to interview for my procedure. I then read their online reviews (here, Google, and Yelp). This quickly narrowed it down to 2 surgeons. I visited another surgeon used by a friend first. Both my husband & I thought he would be the one I would use but we both felt we needed to see Dr. Eisenberg just to be sure.

When I called to schedule my appointment, Sharon, took my medical history over the phone and told me how much it was going to cost before even booking an appointment. There is no cost for the initial office visit. When I went in for my initial appointment, Sharon met me in the waiting room, she didn't talk to me through the window or over a counter. She went over everything we talked about over the phone and then took me in to meet Dr. Eisenberg.

During our visit Dr. Eisenberg treated my husband's concerns as important as mine. He asked me what I wanted from surgery. I told him I wanted to be bigger but I wanted to be proportionate. I did not want my breasts to walk into a room before I do. He took extensive measurements; he measured each breast from 3 or 4 different angles & my rib cage (bra size). He also weighed me & asked my height.

One of the things that truly impressed me was the sense of dignity he made sure I had during this process. While he had to look at my bare breasts he asked permission to stay in the room with his back turned & to continue to speak to me while I undressed & dressed. He didn't just assume I would be okay with that. I thought that was a nice touch.

Instead of using silicone sizers placed in a bra & saying, "there you go, that's what you'll look like," we looked at before & after pictures of women with measurements very similar to mine (he has pages & pages of pictures of ladies with their measurements & different size implants). When we looked at pictures with Dr. Eisenberg it was determined that I would receive 375cc saline implants.

We made the decision to move forward and we began to work with Eileen, another of his office staff, to do the administrative stuff needed to set things up. She went over exactly what I needed to do to begin preparing for surgery; gave me written instructions and highlighted the really important stuff (do's and don't's). She provided me with information on the type of bra I would need to buy for post op & where to find one for a reasonable price. She even knew where I could find it on sale for less than $25!

On the day of my surgery we spent time with Dr. Eisenberg going over what would happen. He spoke mostly to my husband because my husband was going to be the adult in the room when I was released to go home.

After surgery I was given very clear instructions for pain management. I followed his instructions to the letter & found that I had very little real pain; I was sore but not in pain. I only needed the "strong" stuff for 2 full days after surgery & at night for 5 days. Today I am 8 days post op & haven't had anything at all for 3 days. I do wake up sore in the morning but it quickly goes away once I start moving.

While it is still only 8 days post op, I am extremely happy that I didn't go with bigger implants, I'm happy with the size and do feel that I will look natural. I still have a long way to go in recovery but I'm liking my look so far.

I can't even begin to express what a caring man Dr. Eisenberg is. He took his time making sure my questions were answered. He listened to our concerns & talked us through every step of the process. He made sure that my husband understood his role in my recovery. He didn't just tell us what to do but gave it to us in writing in case we forgot. He personally called to check on me the day after surgery. When I went for my post op follow up, he treated us like long time friends. At one point during our visits, he made the comment that he is the luckiest guy in the world & I would have to say that I believe he truly feels that way; it's very obvious that he loves what he does & how much he enjoys making ladies feel beautiful.

I've had to call to ask a couple of questions that I didn't quite understand the answer to when I was in the office and his office staff was always amazing.

I have already told several people both local & away that if they are serious about having augmentation Dr. Eisenberg is the way to go.
