I am finally getting a breast augmentation in a little less than 3 months. It is something I have considered since I was a teenager but never thought I would do. Before I had my child I was probably a full b cup, but they were nicely shaped and full. If I could have them back now I'd be thrilled! After I had my son the rest of my body bounced back quickly but my breasts pretty much deflated. I have virtually NO fullness in the tops of my breasts. It is impossible for me to achieve any sort of cleavage no matter what bra. I am thin but have a curvy backside and hips and feel that the top of my body does not match the bottom, and I hate how I look in bathing suits and tight tops. Bra shopping is a nightmare. I wouldn't say I am insecure about my body overall, but I would much prefer to have larger breasts so I am SO excited to have finally scheduled my surgery for August 17th.
I originally started looking for a surgeon last summer. I only went on a few consultations because as soon as I met with my plastic surgeon I knew it was the right place. He was very straightforward and made me laugh. I explained to him my concerns and that I felt that I had deflated after breastfeeding and he told me it pretty much happens to everyone. I told him I had friends that had great boobs after children and he said "well they probably got implants" which made me laugh :). I really like that he took my size and body structure into account and told me straight-up that he would not be comfortable going above 350-400 cc's on me and that he almost exclusively works with silicone implants and prefers to go under the muscle (well, partially-he does dual plane). This was exactly what I was looking for. He does perform incisions in the crease, around the areola, and occasionally under the armpit but prefers crease or areola incisions. For me, because I do not have a lot of hang in my breasts, he wants to do an areola incision because the scars will be less visible. I've seen some examples of his work and although the thought of him going in through the nipples freaked me out terribly, the scars in his before/after photos were almost invisible! Some I couldn't see at all!
While in the office I tried on 250 cc sizers up to 400 ccs. I was so excited I honestly thought all of them looked great. I'm going with 350 cc's on his advice. I think this will give me the size I'm going for, as he said 400 would be pushing it. I have a pretty narrow frame and am 5'3" 105 lbs.
I'd love to connect with people getting a BA done around the same time as I am. I am the only one of my friends to get plastic surgery (except one friend who had a reduction 10 years ago) so even though they are mostly supportive, no one has really gone through it before. Luckily my husband is very supportive.

Figured I should post some before photos, painful as it may be. As you can see I'm not working with much :/. However they did used to be a bit bigger and a LOT fuller before I had my son so there is enough room to fit at least 350 cc's safely. I'm going back to my plastic surgeons office to play with the sizers again and get a bit more info on profile options. I know he told me he would ultimately make the decision between mod + and hp but I'd like to hear more about how much of a difference in appearance there would be between the two. Initially I wanted hp but now I really like the width of mod +. It would be nice to have some cleavage finally...

Is your surgery today or Friday? I'd be happy to adjust the date for you if needed! ;)

It's friday morning the 21st! It was originally supposed to be Monday but I had to reschedule. Thanks, that would be great if you could adjust the date!
