I am contemplating very seriously whether or not I would like to get a tummy tuck and breast reduction. I am very petite with a small frame and after having my children, I had a lot of extra skin and a ton of stretch marks! While I was pregnant, I did everything humanly possible besides literally laying in a tub of cocoa butter 24/7. I used everything under the sun on a consistent basis to try to prevent my stretch marks but clearly nothing worked. I have also worked out to try to get rid of the fat pooch but it refuses to go anywhere.

I had a consultation with Dr. Davoudi and absolutely LOVED him and his staff. There is no doubt that I will choose him IF I go through with the surgery. He was very warm, extremely professional and courteous. I am quite particular and can be quite tenacious but he was very patient and answered ALL of my questions, including the 15 more questions that I thought of and emailed him after my appointment. I really appreciated the attention to detail that he expressed and his knowledge. After speaking to him and explaining what I was looking for, he suggested that I have the full TT w/ muscle repair, lipo of the flanks, lower back and a lollipop breast reduction (I wear a 32DDD) to achieve the results that I want. The one thing that he wouldn't be able to fully remove are all of my stretch marks. Since I am so small and have a short torso, my stretch marks go up pretty high up on my stomach. Nevertheless, I was super pumped and ready to have the surgery after I left his office.

My biggest reservation/concern is the incision scar. I feel like I'm trading a natural, imperfection for a man-made imperfection. Not to mention that the doctor said that he wouldn't be able to remove all of my stretch marks, so I would still have some. Not only was I looking for the extra skin to be gone, but I also wanted all of my stretch marks gone.

Now I am at a wait, pray and see state. I am leaning more towards going through with the procedures, but am not 100% certain yet. If I go through with the surgery my target date would be the end of October, so that I could heal through the fall, winter and be ready for the spring and summer.

I plan to provide pictures and updates as I go through the decision process and procedure.

Thanks,
Little Mamma

I will still have some stretch marks as well. I look at them like my tiger stripes, I earned those with 3 perfect babies! Embrace the love.

1 month before my surgery! Excited and nervous (more excited than nervous though)!

Well, it's exactly 1 month until my surgery and I've been in communication with my surgery coordinator at Dr. Davoudi's office to get a head start on my doctor's notes for time off and to work from home (I plan to take 2 weeks sick leave and 4 weeks working from home). She has also provided me links to the surgical garments and other helpful websites as I want to pre-purchase a couple of extra Garments and other supplies that I'll need. The doctors office has been on top of everything that I've requested and have been very responsive and accommodating! I have been impressed and satisfied so far!

Had my pre-op apt today!

I had me pre-op appointment today. It went well. I received all of my instructions and supplies list. In excited and a little nervous. I was surprised to find out that I might have to go go home with a catheter AND have to be administered injections for 2 weeks at home. Other than that, it was a good apt.
I feel informed and ready to get this surgery done and over with so that I can start the healing process and have my body back.
I'm planning on posting some of my before/current pictures in the next couple is days.

It went very well. Today makes 10 weeks since my surgery and I am impressed with my results. I will eventually get around posting pics and giving a written update.

Thanks for inquiring!
