Reviews you can trust, from real people like you.
How it works
  • Our highly-trained Review Moderation team evaluates all reviews before they're published to ensure they're written by people like you and not a member of a doctor's office.
  • This multi-step process takes up to 24 hours from review submission to publication.
  • Doctors can't pay to have reviews removed or hidden.
  • Reviews are only removed at the reviewer's request or if they violate our Terms of Service.

If you have questions or believe we should re-evaluate a published review, let us know.

I would advise everyone to re consider doing Lasik...

I would advise everyone to re consider doing Lasik. ie dont do it! You must remember that when your eye is cut, the Dr and the Company do not say in their gloss'y that the cut will actually cut your senses that tell your eyes to water, thus you will end up with dry eye's for life. They ie the eye company/Eye Doctor, after surgery and when you complain about dry eye, will tell you that it's the weather conditions thats making your eyes dry. You have to remember that you never had dry eyes or problems with weather conditions affecting your eye's prior to eye surgery even if you couldn't see well. After surgery, if you have a complaint about slight blurry in one eye or both, the Doctor will tell you that this will heal up over time, do not believe that, the Doctor is just playing with time until your warranty time period runs out then they will recognise the problem only to charge you again to fix it. You must remember that you put your trust in these Doctors but they will screw you from your money and your vision. You see its all to late once you sign the waiver of responsibility which they wave in your face and hope you sign. You can also forget about complaining to the Medical Board, they wont favour you, no!, they wont take one of their own to the cleaners because that will open up multiple claims. The Medical Board will investigate and their findings will only tell you that the Doctor did the procedure correct. You must remember that one little off adjustment by the Doctor during surgery will put your eye out/ blurry, this will be intentional by the the Doctor so that he can scam money out of you again to repair it. They will call this " a touch up". Tradesmen create work this way all the time. You have to remember what the word Professional really means, it means the Professional in their chosen field have been doing their job for that long that they have acquired knowledge and experience never to be at fault. They perform work right on the border line where they are covered from fault. This is a Master at work. Tradesmen do this all the time. They can actually supply all the material, do the job and not be at fault, why? because there is always something else to blame a fault on, because the Pro or Pro tradesman have realised and worked that out over the years, the realm in which to work in without blame. They have all the answers, they have acquired it through experience. You see, not only does a Pro learn to be a great Doctor the correct way, during that times they will learn the incorrect way as well, its norm, but the more incorrect you know, the more Pro you are, this covers you from blame and gives you all the answers. The Patient is doomed. NNT ? Number Needed to Treat. If one out of 20 people have a good result in eye surgery, then this would make eye surgery a wonder surgery and it works. It could have been such a small operation but still an operation and that be recognised as a wonder surgery. Load of Pro crap. You will also experience verbal bullying and condescending manner by your Eye Doctor when you make a concerned complaint. Dont fall for that. Treat yourself to a holiday and wear your glasses otherwise the Doctor will be laying on a beach somewhere with your money while you see halo's of light and cant drive anywhere at night. Thats been my experience.
