Permanent makeup removal is the most painful procedure ever
While getting spectra laser on my face to treat melasma the tech accidentally went over my upper lip where I had done permanent lipliner years ago. The laser caused the rose color liner to turn black hence I had a large black spot on my lip. The tech then proceeded to go over it more and the lip turned darker and darker. I was left with no other choice but to completely remove the color from the lip which took a year of laser procedures every few weeks on my upper lip. This tattoo removal process was the most painful thing I ever had to go through even with numbing. In between each procedures I was left with lips with partially black spots all over and had to wear dark lipstick to cover it 16 hours a day. Please be careful when choosing permanent makeup on your lip because the removal of the color (by choice or by accident) would be extremely costly (about $200 each session and I needed around 14 but didn't have to pay) and extremely painful.
