CoolSculpting Lower Abdomen(Worth It)

I have read over a lot of info on Coolsculpting & decided to give it a try! I am 33 yrs old with one teenage child. I weigh 117 lbs. I lift weights, bike ride, & eat healthy. However, I have struggled over the last few yrs with a little extra around my tummy(especially lower). I went in for my procedure this morning around 9:30. The overall experience was nice! First, I was laid in a very comfortable chair while the tech attached the Coolsculpting suction machine to my belly. At first I felt some pressure, then a cold feeling on my belly, but after about 8 to 10 minutes, the pressure and cold subsided. Over the next 50 minutes, I simply relaxed. After an hour, the device was removed from my belly and the tech massaged my belly...that was it! It's 2:30 now & I have just slight swelling and some redness left, but other than that, I am fine! I will post pictures later of before and during the procedure. Also, I will return weekly with after photos. Hoping for amazing results!!

Hi there, welcome and thanks so much for sharing your experience with us.

I'm so glad it's gone well for you so far and hopefully your results will be awesome! Did your doctor say how long it could take before you start seeing results?

April 1, 2013
The doctor did inform me that it I should start seeing results around 3 wks, and the full results at 4 months.

Awesome, so hopefully soon you'll start seeing results. Just in time for summer!

Please do keep us updated with your progress.

Today is day 11 after my procedure. I have had very minimal pain since the procedure and have maintained all of my daily activities including biking and lifting weights. The swelling is minimal at this point, but I have a little bit of bruising left. I'm posting a pic of day 8 after the procedure...will keep you posted!

Yes please keep me informed. my profile is like yours. I had an appointment on Friday and cancelled it to keep thinking on it. I read some bad reviews and got me scared.
April 9, 2013
I know there are quite a few reviews of people complaining of pain, but it depends on your tolerance and state of mind. I haven't taken a single pill for pain! Keep us posted on your decision and good luck!

I'm not scared of the reviews that spoke of pain. I have a high pain tolerance. I am afraid to spend $2700 to see it ineffective.

I feel exactly like you! Want to do it, have a high pain tolerance, but am deciding if it is worth the investment!

It's effectiveness does depend on the amount of fat you have now along with other factors. $2700 does sound like a lot to spend, but to some it is worth it!!

Ok, so it's been 5 & 1/2 weeks since my procedure on my lower abdomen. I have stayed on the same routine and diet that I was on before coolsculpting and I can honestly say that the procedure is already worth the money! I'm beginning to see and feel definite results! My abdomen is flatter and much tighter...I can't wait for the full results in a few months from now!! I will have more pics later...

I just heard of this procedure, I like that its no surgery and that it does not cost a lot like tummy tuck or lipo, did you really spend $500? thats cheaper than Ive seen so far here, I would love to have my lower tummy flattened! No matter how much weight I lose and exercise its still there, ill blame pregnancy and being a fat kid, lol...
May 9, 2013
I did only spend $500 for one section. I blame my tummy on pregnancy as well! I eat a very healthy diet & exercise strenuously, but always kept extra around my tummy. It will be 6 wks tomorrow since the procedure & my tummy already looks a lot flatter...not to mention also that I am more comfortable in my clothes!

Congratulations!I'd say you results look amazing from the pictures provided! I would like the information on that doctor if it is only $500 for lower abdomen.
