Ulthera Lower Face

WORTH IT
OK so after a lot of research and going back and forth and reading... And rereading... The reviews I decided to for a consultation for ulthera.
I read the bad and the good and the.. Eh. I was scared because of the bad reviews and worried about the eh reviews too because I didn't want to waste money... But mostly I was afraid when I read some of the horror stories.
Many people believe that the bad stories are planted by competitors and some believe the same about the good ones as well.. So where does that leave you and I? Well we have to sift through the wreckage and make a decision. I really put thought into all this and what I have come up ...
I think many of the reviews on both sides are valid and true... I think many people have been hurt and many have had not too much improvement and many have had amazing results. I think most of the difference lies in who does it. And I don't think that just because someone is an MD or PS it will guarantee anything. Sure it's better to have a doctor then a technician... However.. I have had some very very bad doctors. I can go on and on about that.. But I won't because I will get off topic. Maybe I'll submit some more reviews so you can see what I have been through.. It's God awful.
So I believe.. Now more then ever.. It's totally dependent on who does this procedure and research is vital to find that person.
With all this in mind.. When I read about Dr. Shanthala Shivananjappa after moving to the area, I figured a consult couldn't hurt.
I was impressed with the time she took to eleviate any concerns plus knowing she herself had the procedure done made me feel better. She is very beautiful.
I was immediately put at ease and decided that I would roll the dice.
I am very happy I did. It was exactly what I needed and I have complete trust in her. If you meet her you'll see why I say that.. I have also since had fillers and botox and plan on having more.
The results so far have been great and I look forward to even more improvement. I can see how this is not a cure all for everyone but... It certainly gave me exactly what I was looking for and I believe this doctor would have definitely steered me away if she felt it would not work for me. She is that honest... And it's a great therapy.. Just please please do your research before doing this with just anyone. Thank you for all your help Shanthala Shivananjappa!

I had full face ultherapy done dec 2014, and I saw results beginning the following March and onward. My neckline lifted, eyes opened, etc.
I had a 'turkey' neck, so booked extended neck treatment Feb 2016. I am pleased with the results.
I, like you, believe it is not a cure-all for everyone and should be entered into with a good dermatologist you trust. Mine does ultherapy herself and looks great. I wouldnt have spent the money if I didnt have the confidence in my doctor.
I am planning to return for another fill face treatment, since it has been almost 2 years and I would like to 'boost' the effects into the next few years. At this time, I do not see any 'reversal' of the effects of my treatment.

My treatment was done at United Dermatology in Mansfield, TX. Dr Hoang is my dermatologist and Deanne Johnson is the anesthetist who specializes in Ultherapy there. She performed both my full face treatment in12/14 and extended neck in 2/16. I am thinking about having another full face session towards end of year to maintain/boost my results.
Thank you for sharing your personal experience and insight on this treatment. Glad to hear you're happy with your results so far. Will you be sharing some pre/post-op photos?
