Not only was this my first experience with Voluma injections, but it was also done in the hands of a new doctor. My previous plastic surgeon, whom I adored and who had a fantastic reputation, had recently retired. For the past six years, he had been injecting Radiesse in my cheeks and nasolabial folds and he could do my entire face with just one syringe. I always loved the results and so I was more than a little nervous about entrusting my face and money with someone new who used a different technique that was more expensive. He actually recommended two syringes of Voluma but I was adamant that I wanted to take a more conservative approach figuring that I can always add more if it wasn't noticeable enough. Well, it's been about a week and I love the results. If it really does last two years, then I'll be over the moon because it was about $400 more than my Radiesse (which also lasted a long time.) It looks very natural and there was no swelling or bruising. If you are considering cheek fillers, I highly recommend Voluma, but obviously it is even more important to find a reputable doctor who knows what he is doing.
Terrific, thank you for your post! Do you have any pics you can share too? Love to see those results!
Did you have the filler injected in the same areas as before?
