Awful ,not Worth It
Downtime is very long and the pain continues for 2 weeks. Results are minimal and do not show. I lived with a constant migraine aince the lift and taking pain relief more than after my C section. I recovered faster from major surgery than this procedure . It left me bruised & swallen for weeks
Avoid at All Costs
I had four pdo threads in my face on each side. I am most disapointed and ended up looking worse, my face looks heavy with a hampster like appearance after, the eyes are pulled down and i am still in a lot of pain & swollen. I see a wosening of my features and i only have mild swelling. The threads did not lift my face and can be seen under the skin like worms. I paid a doctor to make me look like a freak! The recovery downtime is 2 weeks and not many people can afford to take this long to hide indoors. The procedure was not painful, but the after pain was quite significant. I can not see any improvements in my face, just a pulling downwards where i believe the threads were placed too low and too tight. Also there was bleeding and crusting at the suture entry points so i had to walk around with these in additijn to the bruising and swelling. All in all NOT worth it whatsoevera and will never do it again. Be very careful where you have these done if after reading my review you decide to give it a try. I went to an experienced doctor on Wimpole street in london and still have an awful result. I am panicked looking in the mirror, but helps knowing pdo threads will disolve. If you have these down, make totally sure you are very precise on where exactly they are placed on your face ,and what you wish to achieve, because my doctor did not follow my requests and i am now in a back n forth discussion with the clinic to review me and correct the errors. But nothing can be safely re-done until 2 weeks have passed to avoid infection & more severe swelling. These threads last max a year, so have a think if is worth having several weeks of being botched and not seeing good results. They are expensive threatments and you will need a few days to recover at home. They are NOT a lunch time treatment how some clinics claim. You can feel tired and worn out as if recovering from minor surgery or worse in my case. Not recommended at all ,never again.
