I have a 8year old and a 7month old. It's finally time to get this mess fixed. I have lose skin on my tummy, belly button is hidden under lose skin. Current height 5'2 weigh 135 and I'm 27 years old. I have been wanting this surgery for 4 years now but wasn't sure if I was done habing kids. Finally had my baby girl and now that I have my pair I'm ready. Getting silicone implants and getting my tummy tuck. Will have my surgery March 4th at 7:30 am! I'm scared, nervous and anxious. Don't know what to expect. Will post before pictures soon

I didn't realize you had a seven-month-old baby at home! What about lifting the baby after the tummy tuck? I've known people whose stitches have popped open doing that too soon postop. How will you go weeks without picking up the baby? Have you asked the plastic surgeon about these things? I'm a little worried for you!

I'll have my hubby here for two weeks to help . He knows I will not be able to lift my baby for a month and my mom will be here as well when I have to go back to work to help during the day .

It's official! Deposit has been made. Pre-Op is Monday 2/22 @ 3pm ????. I can't stop thinking of things I need or what to expect. I have a 8month old and an 8 year old and I'm so scared of the pain. Scared of not knowing that to expect. I'm counting down the days at this point. Sarah (patient coordinator) said I won't need anything but what the Dr prescribes and sends me home with. I won't see my Dr until after a week of the surgery (concerns me a little) I will post pictures soon.

Hmm... sometimes I wonder if Sarah had anything done in order to say what you really need PO. From experience and now almost 2yrs PO, I'd say there are things you need PO, especially immediately after PO, but I'd definitely shorten MY list. I wanted to take care of EVERYTHING so I bought EVERYTHING but you only need some of it, not all of it. So to others reading this and prepping... look at my PO lists and you can pick and choose what you need from it. Off the top of my head, I'd say the arnica tablets, throat lozenges, bendy straws, portable urinal, ice packs, lawn chair in shower, and (maybe just my pref because it's shaped that perfect way - vs. using a pillow) the leg wedge... for sure. I really can't recall needing much else.

Day before the BIG DAY!

So it's the night before surgery. Getting last minute things done around the House done. I'm honestly TERRIFIED! I've been terrified . All week I haven't been myself. I even got diarrhea from the tension I feel and I developed back pain . I've cleaned my house and I'm some what ready for this. I do not know what to expect , although I've read and been on realself like a psycho person on crack! Lol I have not been eating healthy - probably because I'm stressed. Physically I'm sure I'll feel like a bus ran me over 2x or more. But I've been waiting on this day for years. I'll see you all on the flat side.
