My recovering haven’t been as smooth as I hoped for, last week I had an appointment with my surgeon and I expressed some concern about fluid that was leaking from my nipples and he said it is normal really didn’t even look at it. It was clear yellowish with some itch and burning sensations as well. As the week progressed it got worst more leakage and even more itch and burn, I called his office Wednesday and he asked to see me Friday. Friday I went to my appointment and he saw the leakage and recommended I visit my urgent care for further tests. I did and after a few test they said I have a 9 cm seroma on my right chest and said to go back to my surgeon to decide if drainage is needed. I called my surgeon and haven’t got a response from his office about seeing him, I’m truly disappointed in the care I’ve received in his office and to be honest it’s actually not my first procedure with him and I had the same type of response from his office, I’m so upset at my self for choosing him again.

Still draining mostly from right side about 40 cc a day, it’s surprising because that’s not the side where I had my implant develop cc. On my left side where I did have the cc it’s caved in significantly which is a little upsetting and scapping is developing where the drain exits. I’m scheduled to see my doctor in 3 days hopefully he’ll remove my drains by then. Also I still haven’t gotten my refund back which is ridiculous because his coordinator Tina told me I should receive it in the mail by the first week of January so i will also be asking about that in my appointment.

Congrats! Hope your healing is progressing.
Regarding your refund ised you. Be persistant. Call and say 'will' come by this afternoon to pick up my refund for the payment on implants that I did not get.
You know if you owed money, their business office would be hounding you!
I explanted and did not have a lift, no rergres at all! I gave myself six months to decide, but I knew from day one the trade off woyuld depress me. Scars never disappear totally! I don't care what doctors say. I love seeing my breast with no reminder of the torture I put them through with the 35 yr old implant baker 4 level of estrcapsulary contracture. I look like I never had breast surger! Yeah! And my nips are point straight ahead. lol!
Btw....I also had drains, one week. They were swollen for awhile, it took a good three months for all that to go down. So you will lose some but not to worry, it takes at keast six months for the breast to heel inside and settle down. Also, in case you read this before your appointment. I suggest you call the office before you go in, tell them to have your refund ready for the X amount, so you can pick it up at your appointment. Be firm. Pleasent but firm!! Keep us posted on your results.

Your right I should be on them more about my refund, but his consultant coordinator Tina said since it’s a group of doctors at his office she has to request the refund from their corporate office and she has no access directly to giving the refund and so she said I have to wait on them to send it through the mail. I hope they are not trying to BS me because I do need my money back.

You are entitled to have the operative report, don't settle for no. Removing the implants and capsules through the nippy incision, when you thought he was going under the breast, did he 'tell' you at your consult he would go under the breast? Most surgeons will be upfront during consults, and ket the student know precisely where the incision will be made for removal. It's outrageous that his office has not responded to you during this complication that developed from surgery. If I were you, First I would get my operative records ASAP. Contact a malpractice lawyer about what's going on. Look for one who works on contingency. ( There may be a consult fee but, if he/she takes your case, it usually gets applied to your case. If the case is settled, the lawyer would get at the end.) Not to worry, if the doctor's office dies not respond to your request for your operative report and refund for services not rendered. Your lawyer will get them. Please contact one 'ASAP'. The office is handling your medical case with no regard for you and continues to jeapordize your health. Please keep me posted and feel free to message me. Btw I'm not over reacting on anything I have said here. I speak from years ago personal experience.
