Sometimes you do have to help them along

I forgot to mention a few points. At my follow-up appointment after 1 month my implants were still high and I read online about using a band to help push them down. Before you try anything please be sure to ask for your surgeon's imput first. After speaking with Dr. Desai suggested I wait another 2 weeks and continue massaginh my normal twice a day before I try to use a band. He gave one to me in case I needed it and now that I am 2 months out he feels that the results have improved. I decided to wear the band periodically for 3 weeks and it made a huge difference. I've included some pictures of me from yesterday's bra shopping. Feel free to ask me anything if needed.

Beginning to get used to the new me

This journey has had its ups and slight down. It takes time for you to accept your new body image. After all the excitement of the process you have to begin becoming accustomed to how different clothes are and bra shopping is super challenging but can be fun. I'm at the two month mark this week and finally feel like the boobs are really mine. Different companies will tell you you are different sizes but don't get stuck on numbers. I love my new boobs and can say confidently the pain is all gone! Thanks to Dr. Desai for helping me be able to see the version of myself I always wanted.

I love them

I am happy with the size I decided on. Healing is getting easier. Learning how to sleep upright is never going to happen. Started sleeping sitting up but a bit sideways as a compromise. Scars are going to take a while to heal. They are starting to soften so massaging is getting a little easier though pushing them down is still a challenge. So far so good though, I love them!
