1 week post op

Hey, sorry it took me so long to write a follow up but I was in a good amount of pain. I would say that day 2-5 were the worst as far as pain. But on day 6 I noticed that I was able to go the whole day without any pain meds throughout the day only took some at night to help me get comfortable and go to sleep. I was able to go back to work on Monday, I am still in some pain but it is very mild and I am able to move around pretty good. I did notice that after working all day I was very swollen and very sleepy by the end of the day. Today, Tuesday I had my follow up with my doctor. He seemed very happy with my results he said I'm still swollen but he can tell the he was able to flatten out my stomach. The only thing that he is waiting to see is how well the skin in my lower abdomin responds. He did say that there is a 10% chance that the skin with not tighten much in my lower abdomen. I am hopeful that I will get good results I am young and still very swollen so in 6 weeks I hope to see a difference with my skin.

Day 2 Post Op

Okay so I made it to day 2!, I was in a good amount of pain yesterday and very sleep from taking the Percocet so I could really give a good update. So let me start off by saying Dr. Gartner and his staff were amazing and definetly made me feel at easy before my procedure. I got to the facility at 6:30 and by 6:45 I was changed into my gown and ready to go. I did some paperwork with the pre op nurse and then we were done Dr. Gartner arrived, he took some pre op photos and marked me up. He explained to me that he would try to get me as flat in the abdomen as he could but there was a chance because I have some loose skin in my lower abdomin that would appear a little larger. If that was the case we could discuss a mini tuck in the future. After this was done the nurse started my IV gave me my anitbotics and I was off to the OR. I remember lying down on the table and the Anesthesologist giving me some medication through the IV making me very sleepy and the next thing I knew I was in the recovery room. I was not really in any pain just sore like I did to much at the gym. I asked the nurse how much they took out and she said 2,400 cc which I hope was enough to flatten me up like I wanted. Yesterday I could see a difference it looked like I was holding my stomach in it look so flat, but today I definetly have swollen up I feel so bloated. I'm trying to take it one day at a time I know the pain and swelling will go away with time. I added some photos so you guys can see before and day 1 post op. Will post some more photos on day 4.

Surgery Day!

Hey guys today was the big day! I had surgery at 7:30am. I am at home resting right now, a little high off Percocet so this will be short. I will write a more detailed post tomorrow. Everything went well, thank god and now I'm just waiting to stop draining all this fluid! Will let you know everything tomorrow, also feel free to ask any questions you may have I will try to answer them.
