Update
I am showing a recent picture demonstrating how I have retained the fat transfer in my cheek area. It is not the best photo, but it shows my cheeks. I still use fillers in the naso-labial lines and marionette lines. 57 on Friday...................

I had a facial fat transfer in March 2014,...
I had a facial fat transfer in March 2014, approximately 6 years after a primary facelift. Both procedures were performed by Dr. Ward. He does a fairly subtle fat transfer procedure. I have provided pics "Before" "At Six Weeks" and Present (approximately 6 months). In looking at the pics I took today, I believe I have retained the fat that I had six weeks out. It's hard to tell, the pics I took today are not very good. In particular Dr. Ward gave me more volume in the cheek area, which is more apparent in the side view photos. He also gave me volume in the area above my upper lips, which have pushed them outward a bit. He applied volume in some other areas of my face as well, but the cheeks and upper lip areas are most apparent. Dr. Ward also performed a brow lift at the same time. The price I quoted for the fat graft is an estimate as I received a discount for doing both procedures.

Looks good! Would love to hear your comments re your facelift with him also. Thank you!
Well it has held up after six years. That's why I did the fat transfer only. After the facelift, in the recovery place, the nurse commented that Dr. Ward is known for his facelifts. Also another surgeon I consulted with later said he had done a "beautiful" job. I have some slight neck issues, but I think necklifts in general do not always last too long. It hasn't gone back, just always had a little sagginess right underneath the chin.
Welcome to RS you look great the doctor did a great job it's always nice to run up on other plastic surgery procedures I'm from the BBL world and fat transfer and lipo. Enjoy the beautiful new you!
Thank you!
Uw!
where are your pictures of it
Hi, How much did the fat transfer cost...how was the bruising?
tx for helping... I am also doing my wrists and hands here and there... to plump it a bit...
I am concerned with bruising... I am taking classes every two weeks... for 4 days at the time...
Let me know ,
Josephine
I think the fat transfer was about $3500. I paid $7K for both fat transfer and brow lift. I received discount for multiple procedures plus a discount because I was a returning patient. So not sure what the doc. would charge a new patient. I had minimal bruising from the fat graft itself. Most bruising was from the forehead lift. Hope this helps!
upper eye lid... worth it... recovery bruising?
I had brow lift which elevated my upper lids. There was a lot of bruising and swelling from this procedure. If you did a blepharoplasty (which just removes skin from the upper lid) it is a more minor procedure.
Okay! So you did not have a fat transfer upper eyelid
no
sorry
