I had a breast aug wit Dr Ward. The results were great but I am over all unhappy with the finished size, a bit too small. Would have him do revision but he is now retired in last year. Bedside manner is not he greatest....bad jokes and a bit arrogant..but skilled and would b worth talking to again.
Dr John Ward is amazing. I'm completely satisfied with my results. He did an amazing job. I had 3 different consultation with 3 different Doctors. I chose Dr John Ward based on my research. DR John Ward had impeccable training & history. I did all of the things realself said to do when searching for a doctor.
After wanting breast augmentation for as long I could remember I was finally able to doit! I only wish I would have done it sooner! All I can say is listen to your Dr when it comes to size etc. Went from 34b/c to 40 dd. 5'7 140 lbs. Mentor mid profile 500/550 cc silicone. I know have amazing beautiful breasts.
I was interested in breast augmentation after nursing 2 babies my always small breasts were deflated. I was referred by a friend and after meeting with dr. Ward felt so comfortable I cancelled my other consultations and scheduled surgery. My surgery was a breeze and I am thrilled with the results. Dr. Ward was very clear about expectations all along and things went exactly as he said. 9 months out now and they are perfect.
Dr Ward is amazing. He was honest and made me feel comfortable from first meet. For me, it was and is no picnic. I didn't have the help post surgery required. I went through swell hell, oh and going through it again right now!! I'm uncomfortable, still sleep with my legs elevated.....100% worth it!! Updated on 14 Jun 2015: After losing weight and back in the dating game at 40...I needed a boost of confidence. I decided on a tummy tuck with inner thigh lipo. The first few days are rough. I wasn't in pain as much as I was afraid to hurt myself. I was on the Percocet for 3 days and maybe a few nights after here and there. I ate jello, drank lots of water and slept. Eventually worked up to rice and salmon. Here's the deal...they say don't be alone under any circumstances for 48-72 hours. This is NO JOKE. Make sure the person is some one you trust. Unfortunately mine bailed after barely 24 hours and it hurt my recovery. I went back to work 10 days post op. My job is sitting...a lot! I barely made it 6 hours the first week back. Hindsight....2-3 weeks is better for overall health. I watched more TV in the last 5 weeks than I have my life! Week 3 was my worst swelling. I still had my drain in and was draining 30-40cc a day when they took it out (22 days). The following week I started walking. I was given the ok to wear spanx garment but find my binders are more supportive. Now week 5 I wear the binder 1/2 the day and a garment from Leonisa the other 1/2. Beginning week 5....I had company in town and ate a little less clean and had a few nights with wine. I'm uncomfortable. Dare I say minor pain. I'm swollen beyond week 3. I'm afraid it's a seroma and calling the doctor tomorrow. Tips: have lots of help! Eat clean and lots of fluids. I bought pre-meals from places like GrabbaGreen and My Fit Foods. Don't worry about your mons area....it does go back to normal size! Walk....even if it's slow and short...walk after your cleared from MD. Socialize.....I got depressed being alone so much. I mean ALONE for days. Don't try on clothes or step on the scale. I didn't listen and it depressed me more. Lots of pillows, extra big undies and soft no wire bras. Still working on it but I'll try and keep updated. I wish I would have had a "mentor" going through this so please feel free to reach out. Updated on 15 Jun 2015: Doc said I'm healing nicely. I'm very very swollen for week 5 (more than I was in week 3) but it's because I have increased my activity. So happy it's not a seroma! 6lb weight gain in just a few days....that's a lot of swollen! Now I get why they say don't look at the scale for 2 months. All is well..:mentally gets challenging but nothing too bad. Updated on 21 Jun 2015: Working out very very slowly every other day now. I want to run outside or stairs but body says no! Now I walk at a steep incline on the treadmill. Weight is stable but I watch my food intake carefully. One dinner with lots of salt and I'm preggo looking. Other than that....my incision itches a little sometimes. Swollen more now than at 4 weeks (picture is before, 2 weeks, 4 weeks and now 6 weeks) but not as uncomfortable swollen. Wear control spanx during the day and my binder to sleep. Kinda sleeping on my side but still feel comfortable on my back with my feet propped. I work nights so bedtime I'm the most swollen. Ok. See you all at 8 weeks! Let's hope for no swelling and more working out! Still have 20lbs to lose :)
Dr. Ward and his staff were AMAZING! So happy with my results! The staff answered every single question I had in detail and they were very pleasing to work with. I highly recommend him to anyone seeking surgery. He is very thorough with his check ups which I felt very comforting. AMAZING work and I couldn't be happier !
Ok so I've never had boobs. Ever. Last time I got sized at VS, I was basically told that I was too small for all of their bras! That's when I knew something had to be done. I had a consultation with Dr. John Ward up in North Scottsdale last week and was able to schedule surgery for this past Thursday. So far, I'm experiencing horribke Frankenboob lol. Doctor says it's because I am on the smaller side (5'4 and 100 lbs) and implants were rather large.? Updated on 12 Apr 2015: Just start dropping already girls!! Updated on 12 Apr 2015: Just wanna mention...my recovery was a breeze! I ended up scheduling surgery right as my boyfriend was heading out of state. I had made arrangements for friends to drive me around & check in on me everyday as I recovered at his apartment but after day 1 it was completely unnecessary! I was a little nauseous and disoriented coming straight out of surgery due to the anesthesia, but after I slept a few hours I was up moving, cooking, and cleaning with only very mild discomfort. I'm able to stop taking my pain medication already and my breasts only hurt when I overexert my pectoral muscles. I've been RIDICULOUSLY hungry the duration of my recovery, which I figure is my body trying to get enough nutrients to heal itself. Nevertheless, I'm extremely thankful that my recovery has been so speedy and simple as of right now. Updated on 15 Apr 2015: Soooo went into my PS office this morning to see him for the first time since I've had surgery. I think someone from his office showed him my review because he walked in with a quick "So I hear you've got Frankenboob eh?". Lol! Kinda embarrassing but oh well. I'm still ridiculously impatient for the girls to drop, which I need to be better about. He told me once again..one to three months for them to soften up and lower. Dr. Ward even compared them to grass slowly growing in the winter haha. I had the tape removed from the incisions and bought some scar gel the office sells. All in all, the incisions don't even look that terrible to me and I'm sure they'll fade significantly within 6 months to a year. According to the doctor, my breasts came out perfect. There's some cleavage, he fit all 400ccs in each breast, and no signs of infection or bruising whatsoever. Yay! Here's some progression pictures...It's driving me nuts not being able to work out so don't mind if I look bloated! Since I'm not allowed to wear a bra for 3 more weeks, I bought petals to cover my nipples when I go out. I'm not sure if it's a reaction to the sticky stuff on them, or maybe my new boobs just don't like to be covered because taking those things off HURTS! Updated on 15 Apr 2015: Updated on 17 Apr 2015: Nothing has really changed except they feel a little softer...still pretty tight in the morning.
Having breast feed my daughter many years ago left me without breast. Although my breast did there job I was feeling less like a women and more boyish. I saved for many years and at the age of 48 I had the money and time to go ahead and have my breast implant surgery done. I did a lot of research over the years and found a Dr I liked. I made an appointment asked lots of questions and I loved my doctor and the fact he would play a major role in the size and procedure. This showed me he wasn't a slice and dice Dr that would do whatever I wanted, and thank God for that. I walked in knowing what I wanted for size and what type of procedure I wanted, boy was I wrong. Having a up front Dr who will say no to something you want and explain why you don't want it , is truly worth the world. I'm almost 2 months past surgery and I feel like a beautiful and sexy women again. I can finally wear nice clothes and look sexy and rock them. The worst day I had was the day of surgery, after that it was a breeze. I was up and running the day after surgery doing my everyday routine, but being careful not to lift, or pull on anything. I really don't have any cons to speak of. I was so informed by my Dr and his staff I knew what was coming and how to handle it. I got exactly what I was hoping for. I feel beautiful, sexy, like a hole women again, and I'm so thankful. The sensation in my breast are normal, they feel natural and look natural. If you looked at me you would not know I had breast implants and that was really important to me too look natural. My breast are proportionate to my body. I had 550cc, silicone implants, and put under the muscle. Total opposite of what I walked in wanting, thank you Dr. Ward for informing me why I didn't want what I thought I wanted. I wanted 550cc, saline, on top of muscle, and tear dropped. By the time Dr. Ward finished talking to me and telling me he would not perform that procedure, I was extremely grateful to him for explaining why he wouldn't do that procedure. I would have not been pleased at all with the out come and would have been left emotionally scared and would have to go through another procedure to correct it. It's really important that which ever doctor you choose to use, that they are playing a major role in the decisions. Make sure they will be honest, ask lot's of questions. Make sure your totally honest about what you really want the end result to be. No question is stupid..... I hope your outcome is as awesome as mine has been, and good luck in your journey forward.
I went to Arizona to see Dr Ward because my cousin was getting a face lift & recommended him to me to help with my skin, I had gotten horrible scars & dents from Erbium laser resurfacing done in Tampa. So I flew out to meet him. He couldn't do anything for my skin but since I was there for 3 wks I asked if I could get a breast lift. He said he could & he would do it that week since he knew my situation. We also agreed to put in small size saline implants. I went in 3 days later for the surgery. I have to admit the healing was a breeze & I never had any problems at all & after looking at some I have to say mine look pretty dam good for being 60. I was up and about the next day. People couldn't believe I had surgery since I wasn't in any pain at all & I was walking around. I even took care of my cousin while I was healing, I felt that good.. I didn't know I was getting them done til he said no to my skin so I didn't know what to expect with breast surgery since I never looked up anything about it. Dumb I know. I had them done in 2011 so I was 57 at the time. The scars & the implants look good. The only thing I was disappointed in was that he wasn't there for my check up before I left but his nurse checked me out & said I was doing good. I would def recommend him for breast surgery. I see some on here only have one post & I get weary when I see that but you'll see I have tons of posts about my skin so I wasn't asked to write a review. Your ok Dr Ward. I still love my boobs Good job.
Dr. Ward and his staff are very professional and caring. My results are extraordinary!!! I feel and look amazing!!! Dr. Ward is truly an artist. I will recommend Dr. Ward to anybody considering any type of cosmetic surgery. Dr. Ward took his time to anwser all my questions and made me feel comfortable. I love the fact he was NOT arrogant as the other surgeons I had visited. He was truly compassionate. Thank you Dr. Ward and staff as you are TRULY AMAZING!!! Jenn Jones
Hello and thank you for your question. In my practice, most patients return to work 10-14 days after surgery. Since you are a health care assistant, I would usually recommend that you refrain from heavy lifting (more than 10 lbs) for about 6 weeks depending on how you are healing. Make sure that you discuss recovery time with your surgeon as he/she will have the answers best suited to you and how you are healing. Best of luck!
Hello and thank you for your question. I am sorry to hear that your are having complications and this does not sound normal. Your best option is to speak to your surgeon and if you are not satisfied with his/her answer then get a second opinion with a board certified plastic surgeon with experience with secondary/corrective facelifts. Best of luck.
Hello and thank you for your question and photos. First of all, what area of your face specifically is it that you are wanting improved? Better photos are needed in order to give you a more accurate opinion. The best photos are taken from the front and each side of your face and non-smiling. Seek a consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon to discuss your options. Best of luck!
Hello and thank you for your questions and photos. I would start by following up with your Gynecologist to check your hormone levels. A lot of issues you are experiencing could be cleared up with proper hormone levels. Best of luck!
Hello and thank you for your question. Unfortunately without photos it is impossible to give you an answer to your question. Your best option is to seek an in-person consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon to discuss your options. Best of luck!
