Panniculectomy - 62 year old female

I have never had any type of cosmetic surgery before or even looked into it until I found out that something could be done about the heavy lower stomach that I had been dealing with for years. More commonly known as FUPA, (Panniculectomy). From my first phone call to set up a consultation made me feel so comfortable with the staff. Although I had to get a second opinion, I chose to have Dr Lyle Back and his team to do my surgery. He was such a sweet, caring, personable, knowledgeable, and comical Doctor. They all treated me like I was family. Dr Lyle explained everything to me from pre-op to post-op. The procedure took about 3 hours and went really well. Believe it or not, the binder was the worst for me as I am only 5 foot tall and have a short torso. It was either irritating my incision or up too high against my breasts. But, the girls suggested I wear a tank top under the binder to help with all the irritation. That was perfect for me, and I complained less after that. I could see the difference in my stomach at 1 week post-op which was hard to believe it was me. I have been driving for 2 weeks and all my restrictions have been lifted at my 4 week post-op. It will take quite a few months for the swelling to be gone, but I am so happy already and am glad I had the courage to get this done for myself. I could have never asked for a better Dr and his staff to help me with this amazing opportunity.
