Long Awaited Rhinoplasty - Palo Alto, CA

Quick Update: I still have swelling- nothing major. My nose is sensitive to touch including applying makeup or washing my face. Overall, I love it and don’t regret it one bit. I am so thankful for my doctor’s expertise-honestly, I got exactly what I wanted from what I can see so far. I am one happy rhinoplasty patient :) It is so subtle (Yet makes a huge impact), not one person has noticed (that I didn’t tell), and I feel much more confident.

I got Exactly what I wanted! Dr. most was spot on. There’s still quite a bit of swelling, but I can already tell it’s going to be lovely. After the cast was removed my nose and cheeks got incredibly oily (on top of my dry flaky skin from not being able to scrub my face). I purchased some Philosophy Exfoliating Wash from Ulta on the way home and that really helped with the oil and dry skin. Other than that, nose looks great! It’s so scary putting your face in someone’s hands not knowing exactly what will happen. It was such a relief to see the cast come off and find this nose that I’ve wanted for some 15+ years. It’s been such an insecurity my whole life- and it’s so odd that i already feel more confident today, and don’t want to hide behind sunglasses per usual. I feel like i won’t think about it anymore once it’s completely healed. I’m excited to see the swelling come down and see a more refined nose.

Today I am post-op day 5, and I finally feel like my usual self again. The bruises are now fading (yellow circles around my eyes), and my face is just a little swollen. I haven't needed any medications at this point. My only real complaint is that my skin underneath the cast is itching like crazy! I am slightly annoyed with the constant runny nose, but it's a small price to pay for this nose I get to call my own! I am so happy to see the smooth profile! The bump is gone! Dr. Most is seriously the best. He is so humble and doesn't make any promises, but man, he does not give himself enough credit, because I am so impressed so far. I hope the results look good under this cast as well. The cast will be removed in two more days, so I'll post an update then.
