Life Changed - Palm Harbor, FL

I had ruptured implants removed and replaced 3 weeks ago. I am extremely happy with the outcome. This doctor has changed my life. I spent 13 years with abnormal looking implants that were displaced,solid as a rock from C.C. &I was in horrible pain. I went back to the doctor 3days after my first surgery which was allready the worst experience of my life.It was supose to be this amazing life changing experience instead of a surgery from hell for lack of a better term. Im not sure how much space I have to write this review so Im going to try to leave out some of the surgery details that would shock you and save them for a different time to be sure I am able to say whats needed. I expressed to this other doctor(dr Lauffer),that not only did the surgery go all wrong but something was still very wrong. He did everything to convince me that I was wrong and all was well. I believed him. He was a Surgeon and I had never been through this. What did I know. It turns out I was right. I was sick and in pain for the next 13 years and disfigured. It was horrible.It ruined 13 years of my life until a miracle mammogram and a miracle doctor. The mamo said my implants were ruptured so I went to this doctor to find out what to do next. Upon the exam Dr. Ross said I needed them removed &replaced either way. He said he could make them look better &get rid of the pain. I had no idea my health was going to get better also but after this procedure it has greatly improved.The implants had been ruptured on both sides so badly they were basically liqufied. I couldnt lift my arm on one side the capsular contracture was so bad. The implants were placed in pockets so high on my chest they looked rediculous and they were so solid the were hideous and made a relationship with a man impossible or wearing anything revealing in anyway such as a swimsuit impossible as well. I was even more disfigured after Dr Lauffer was finished with me,then I was before I had the surgery and was flat chested. Now I looked worse, wasted $6,000 ,was very ill(not yet knowing it was related) and in alot of pain. If DrLauffer would have just given me 5minutes of his time and been honest about all that wasnt right and told me this could all be fixed I would not have endured this for 13 years . He could have fixed it!! Thankfully Dr Jay Ross did give me this time and now I have had the surgery to fix it that left me with minimal post surgery pain and couldnt have been more relieved to have such a small amount if pain. I was so greatful to not experience the horrible agony I went through with the first one that left me barely concious for the first 72 hours and instead was joking around with my family the same day on the way home from surgery! Still cant get over the difference!I also can now raise my arm again since the moment I was out of surgery. I feel so much better and now know what was causing the health issues and horrible abdominal pain(silicon throughout my body).I now look like a normal women for the first time in 40 years. Im so greatful to look and feel normal . This doctor has saved my life. He gave me my health ,my self asteem,took the pain away and made me look and feel like a women again. I am so pleased with this surgery. I would recommend him to any friend or family member with confidence of an amazing outcome. I just cant express enough how much this doctor had done for me and how nice it was to be treated with such kindness and compassion. He genuinely loves his work and is very good at what he does. I almost forgot the staff somehow. Im not sure how because they also made this surgery easier by being such a good team. The anesthesiologist and nurse were amazing. They took great care of me from begining to end. They too would get a great recomendation from me.Thankyou Dr Ross. You have changed my life!
