WORTH IT
Hi everyone, I am 53, have lost 110 lbs in the past 2 years, and my breasts didn't really shrink all that much with the weight loss. I knew they probably wouldn't. I have been busty since puberty, more so after childbirth. My pre surgery bra size was 36J. Looking at them now, I am expecting a small C after the swelling is gone. The outcome is everything I had hoped for, and I bet that it can only get better once I am fully healed. I am very pleased with my surgeon, Dr. Daniel Tkach of Paducah, KY.

Congratulations on that weight loss, amazing how much better it makes one feel. Thanks for your comment, I had to do something, I had been trying and failing since at least my late thirties. I think the grandkids coming along made me start thinking I had better get serious. I feel loads better :)

Yes, you have to hit the right mindset. I put on weight steadily from my mid forties and initially I blamed the big boobs on the weight, but when i thought it through, the final growth was doe to the menopause and a bit of weight loss made no difference. I have learned what to do to lose weight now, largely helped by the myfitnesspal website that has transformed things for me.

Oh Wow, Thanks for that! I can scarcely believe it myself :) I can hardly wait to get into some styles of summer clothes that I haven't worn since my twenties. Tank tops, for one. I just have no idea what size I will settle into.
