I have always been really unhappy with my nose. ...

I have always been really unhappy with my nose. Ever since middle school people have made comments about how it is super round. Even my kids like to squeeze it and say how weird it is and ask if I have ever broken it..."then how did it get that shape?". Anyway, now that I am 30, I feel like it is time to get myself the way I want to be. People tell me I am cute, and I think that if I take care of this issue maybe I will feel like its true! The problems are that the bridge is crooked (C shaped) and the tip is extremely bulbous.

I think you have lovely features! A more delicate tip would further accentuate your big eyes and full lips.

I wish you good luck on this journey. It is definitely an exciting thing and hopefully the doctor will give you the nose you want. A smaller, more delicate nose will definitely suit you better. I had my surgeries done as a gift for my 30th bday and im happy with my results . I just wish i wouldv done it years ago

This is such a hard decision to make. I am going through the same thing now. I saw two doctors and they both promise great results. The final result however, we have to wait and see. Everybody can promise, but the delivery is what counts. If you have two doctors saying the same, and one saying he can do wonders, I would be a bit suspicious. See a fourth one! I would.

I know! picking the surgeon is by far the hardest part for me. Thanks for your comment.

You are beautiful! But I know how it feels to hate your nose, and I can't believe I waited as long I did to have my procedure. With the kind of "tip work" you're having expect the swelling to last the longest there. Right now I feel like my nose is bigger than before surgery (which it is) but it is just swelling and can take months to a year to see the end "defined"

** results. My biggest suggestions are the sleeping upright I mentioned in the other post, trust your gut and have faith in your choice of surgeon, and last but not least DO NOT STARE and obsess over your nose post op. Leave it alone, and let it heal and have faith that it will be a long journey of up to a year to see the final results, but it will be totally worth it and you'll be so thankful that you finally did it for yourself! Yay!

You're already gorgeous and have very pretty eyes! But I understand how this one issue can make you fixate on it. I also had a bulbous tip and it does take a while for swelling to completely subside. I'm at a year and half post op and still see changes, but also improvements I would like to make. So good luck and if you have any questions feel free to ask :)

Making the deposit today!

Samantha4456
I am going to go in and make the deposit today to hold my surgery day on the 20th! I also plan on seeing the pictures of another surgery that he did recently. Hopefully that will help me relax! I really hope its amazing. One thing is putting my mind at ease more than anything else, its really weird. I read an article a few days ago about how 85% of women in Korea get plastic surgery. It said that it is so common that it is rare to get only one procedure done and that people frequently go back to get multiple nose jobs so that their faces don't look "dated" or "out of style". I think the article was meant to make people think plastic surgery was stupid, but for me, it made me feel much more comfortable getting my surgery in a way because it emphasized the common-ness (is that a word?). It also said that the pain of surgery just isn't an issue there and people know that the pain is really bad for about three days and then gets gradually better.

Haha "out of style"? Omg thats just ridiculous, but if thats what makes someone happy and they have $ to blow every few years for an "update" why not? :) .
Good luck on the 20th. Dont worry , pain isn't bad at all.

I like it. My surgeon also likes to raise the nose tip just a tiny bit. To give it a more feminine
