Turns out this doctor seriously messed up

So, I have been trying to not stress over the crookedness of the nose since last year. I made a decision to accept "myself" and didn't worry too much about the imperfections. However, here we are 2 years post op and this nose is driving me crazy. It is not only what seems to be getting more crooked over time, I also can't breathe well out of one side and it bleeds. Before the surgery, all my problems were aesthetic. Now, after seeing another doctor I officially have a deviated septum and collapsed cartilage over one nostril. When I went back to see Dr. Young he claims I did not follow the post op instructions and that something must have happened that I am not telling him about. Well, this is not true I was obsessed with taking care of this nose and did everything right. He said also that he did not touch the bone and that the bump on the side is just scar tissue, while the new doctor I spoke with said that he did in fact break the bone which is why it sticking out. I am so confused and angry. So, looks like I will be going through this entire thing again. At least this time insurance will pay, but still.

My nose is very admittedly not perfect, but it is a great improvement and I feel much happier with my face now.

3 months Post!

I feel like it is super subtle, and certainly not perfect, but I feel much prettier and I have confidence that when people are looking at me, they would not say look at that huge nose! That is peace of mind that is worth every bit of this surgery process to me. Although it is still not perfectly straight and its not your typical post surgery right angle nose, I think it suits my face and looks very natural. A lot of the swelling that made it look lopsided has gone away, I am thinking there still may be more to go and if that is the case, it might end up quite straight. Who knows...I am content and would recommend the procedure and the doctor and this point!

I am a little nervous about my choice of doctors. I met with three, he is the least experienced but was the most positive about the results. Other doctors told me that I would only be 40% straighter and that it may go back the way it is now because of "my anatomy." Dr. Young told me that he could get it right and that it is pretty straight forward procedure. He is also an artist so I feel like that will make him more likely to produce pretty results.
