Outstanding Deep CO2 Laser Resurfacing Results with Dr. Laura Roider

I had a deep CO2 laser resurfacing treatment on my face, neck, and chest with Dr. Laura Roider earlier this year, and I honestly couldn't be happier with my results. I had this procedure done once before by an aesthetics RN, so I have something to compare it to. The biggest difference was that Dr. Roider was able to safely perform a much deeper CO2 laser treatment, which gave me significantly better skin resurfacing and wrinkle improvement. One of the reasons I chose Dr. Roider is that she offers the procedure under nurse-administered sedation. While many people tolerate CO2 laser resurfacing with topical numbing alone, I personally wanted to be completely comfortable and not experience pain during such an intensive treatment. For me, the added cost of sedation was absolutely worth it and made the experience much easier. I also have sensitive skin with rosacea, so I appreciated how carefully Dr. Roider evaluated my skin before treatment. She customized the laser settings specifically for my skin type, healing ability, and goals instead of taking a one-size-fits-all approach. She thoroughly explained the procedure, recovery, and expectations beforehand, so I felt confident going into treatment. My healing took about 10 days, which was expected given the depth of treatment and my sensitive skin. Throughout recovery, Dr. Roider was readily available to answer questions, checked on my progress, and made sure everything was healing exactly as it should.
The results have honestly exceeded my expectations. My fine lines, wrinkles, skin texture, and even my deeper forehead lines improved dramatically. In fact, it's now been four months since my last Botox treatment, and my forehead still looks great because the laser resurfacing softened those lines so much!
A deep CO2 laser is not a procedure I'd trust to just anyone. Choosing an experienced plastic surgeon made all the difference, and I felt completely confident trusting Dr. Roider with my face, neck, and chest.
