Day 11

So definitely there was some pain as the nerves in my outer thighs “woke up.” It wasn’t very significant, more like a pinching sensation. The inner thighs feel fine but outer are still numb and tender to the touch. They feel less swollen and no different from when I started

Day 4

So my thighs are still sore but not as bad as they were on day 2. When my inner thighs rub together it’s a weird sensation because they are still numb. They are swollen and bigger than usual.
I haven’t been able to get the marker off still - I don’t know if they used a sharpie?! I tried coconut oil, will try rubbing alcohol next.
No pain yet, just tenderness. Will update at the 1 week mark.

Inner and Outer Thighs CoolSculpting

I am in good shape at about 140 pounds, 5"8 and 37 years old but have always held weight in my bum and thighs. Even when I was at my lowest weight of 120 I still had "saddlebags" or a pocket of fat in my outer thigh that made my thighs look like they came to a point. I weight train 2x a week and run 3x a week but could not do anything to get rid of that fat.

I was researching CoolSculpting and reading reviews on this site to see if it would work for me. 1-3 months to see results is perfect in April because hopefully I would see the results as bikini season rolls around and in time for my 10 year wedding vow renewal.

I went in for a consultation and I have to admit I was a little impulsive - I bought a inner and outer thigh session for a couple days later. I hadn't been planning on doing inner thigh but I figured I might as well do both at the same time and share the recovery period. It was expensive at $3500 for both but it's an area that has always bothered me so I figured why not give it a shot.

I went in for my procedure yesterday. It was uncomfortable, but I didn't find it very painful. The inner thighs was worse because the machine suctions onto your thigh and holds itself there. 75 mins for outer thighs and 60 mins for inner. After the procedure they massage the area for 2 minutes which I was warned would hurt but again I didn't find it painful. I was told to drink plenty of water, take Tylenol if I was in pain and not drink alcohol for 24 hours because it can cause bruising. I have to admit, I did drink 2 glasses of wine though! I was sore on par with when you do a leg workout and have soreness the next day, but nothing too painful.

Day 2 - My thighs are sore still and sensitive to touch. When I got the procedure done, they drew on my skin the areas they were treating with a sharpie marker. This morning when I was showering I was trying to remove but it hurts too much to scrub the area, so I still have big targets drawn on my body!

Looking forward to seeing results in a month! I'm going to ask my trainer to measure my thighs on Tuesday so I can give you measurements to see if any inches are lost as we progress.
