I was told that I was a good candidate for Venus...

I was told that I was a good candidate for Venus freeze to tighten the skin on my lower stomach. I exercise and have good muscle tone but gravity, age, and pregnancies have resulted in a less than flattering stomach.
Anyway, I did 6 treatments and had two more as a bonus when I complained that I hadn't seen results.
Six months after the last treatment, the skin is only a little less wrinkly, not the tone or reduction that had been touted.
After a consult with a physician, I was told that surgery was my only option as there was too much loose skin. I've also learned that my age may mean the treatment is less effective.
Not worth it. The people administering the treatment should be more upfront about what will work.

Thank you! You have saved me from this experience! Hope you are able to find another viable alternative. Your tummy looks great to me though. Keep up with the leg lifts and crunches! They surely can't hurt!

I did 3 treatment of Fraxel laser on my stomach for this and 8th worked amazing. Got rid of hangy crepe weird skin and stretch marks. It doesn't feel good I'll tell you that!! I wouldn't recommend it for the face as you go through months of breakouts as well as some burns. I was very unhappy at first with my face but then 6 months later I started noticing my facial skin changing and getting tighter and nicer by the month. The burn spot by my eye I got rid of with Korres Wild Rose Brightening and Retin A so in the end I'm glad I did that too. My stomach got better and better. Just remember you really don't see any real changes start until the 6 mo line as it takes a while for the collagen to build. Tummy you know it worked pretty much right away but gets better and better. Face you'll think you ruined your face for a while and then you start getting happy!

OMG....that's so true & wish I hadn't BLURTED OUT " OMG WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO MY FACE " after I had laser for the first time on my face ! Nothing like embarrassing ones self out right !

How annoying for you. I agree, doctors need to be much more upfront about what the results will most likely be.
