I'll b going in on March 30th for CO2 laser on my forehead.
PS advised me to have Botox before the laser, since it freezes your expression lines and assists in healing.
The Botox did a moderate job in eliminating some of my wrinkles, but it's not enough to get rid of the ones between my eyes. Those are the ones that bother me the most!
I found the fillers ($2900) were better at filling in my wrinkles. Having said that tho I wouldn't do as many spots next time around. I liked the fillers in my eyebrow area, cheeks and mouth lines.

Wow, amazing results, thank you for sharing your pics and experience! How many units of Botox did you have? Keep us posted on how your CO2 laser treatment goes!

Thanks Chris ;-)
Actually I'm not sure how many units of Botox were used. I never even asked how many. LOL

Your surgeon is excellent!

Hi Suzyskin. How many times did you have to have the laser treatment on your forehead? Was it just the one attempt. Looks great so far.
March 31, 2016
This is my 1st forehead laser treatment and I think it's looking good so far :-)

Looking more Than good! Is this a one off treatment or will you need to go back. Read your post on moving your forehead when talking, I have same habit and hence why we have forehead wrinkles. I can't stop the habit.

Forehead CO2 laser went well

SuzySkin
So I had fewer freezing needles this time = 6. The lower face needed 8 and I found those very painful, the 1st time. This time the actual injection seemed shorter.
Am liking the results I can see so far. A lot of my pet peeve wrinkles seem to have been lasered off = Yeah ;-)
My skin feels a bit burned as if u were in the sun for 2 long.
So tomorrow I start my 3hr face rinses with cold water.

which type of laser was used. there are many.

I was just asking my PS that yesterday. He said it was totally ablative CO2, not Fraxel CO2. IF I understood him properly, the Fraxel uses a strong main beam and lesser beams to the outside. I think that's the one that leaves the grid lines with obvious holes.
My PS does his work freehand and with the ablative laser, can see immediately if the area needs another pass.

You look great! Did you do CO2 previously to your face...not including your forehead? Your face looks so smooth from the before pic.
March 31, 2016
Yup, I had my lower face done 1st, last summer. Now I'm finishing off with the forehead CO2.
So far it looks like my PS got all of them! Hooray :-)
March 31, 2016
Thank you! Enjoy...you look great!!

Can I ask how many times you have had the CO2 laser on your lower face, the difference in your skin is remarkable. Please post photos of your forehead once the Botox has worn off.

I have had CO2 laser once my results where not as good as yours,
I am very concerned with lip lines which I think the CO2 did improve slightly but I want something to elimate them completely, did you get a good result around the mouth and chin area?
March 31, 2016
I had CO2 once on my lower face - altho the PS does 2 passes when he feels it's necessary.
As far as lip lines and other deep expression lines - I think u need fillers to add the final touch. I had fillers at my lip areas to get rid of those particular lines.
The laser I have is totally ablative! The PS does it freehand and can tell immediately if it needs another pass. There are no dots as in some of the other Lasers, such as Fraxel. This prevents overlaps and ridges.

Thank you so much for this information, looks like your going to have fantastic results

Day 2 of Forehead CO2

SuzySkin
Can u say "Greese Monkey"! LOL
Today is good = no pain or itching or burning! Did my 1st cold water rinses for 5 minutes and I've come to the conclusion that it's the worst of the entire procedure :-(
Your hands are freezing, as well as your face and water + Polysporin are a messy mix!
I'm supposed to switch over to vaseline tomorrow = same mess, different product.
I've got to say I am loving the results so far :-)
