I am 43 yrs old, 5"6 145 . I came to my Dr as I wanted a breast lift. My Dr said that I would have a better result with an implant to get the upper pole fullness with a mastoplexy. We agreed on over the muscle as I have my muscle high on the chest wall and am very broad through the rib cage. On July 15th, I underwent surgery for lipo on my back, flanks and underarm and had 395 Natrelle moderate profile ( I believe) placed over the muscle. When I woke up, my Dr indicated he felt the mastoplexy was not needed as it would have only raised my nipple mere millimetres. He refunded me the money I had paid for the mastoplexy . So far, I am thrilled with my results. I wanted a natural result and I have it. I know that they will change and continue to improve. I will post my 5 weeks post op pics this week after my follow up.

This was a big help. Similar dimensions and my PS also suggested over the muscle which made me nervous at first. Thanks for sharing, planning surgery late March early April.

This forum has helped me soo much.. It is so impt to trust your PS as they know the limitations of size and profile for your body.. the one thing I have to say is no matter what: wear your bra and take it easy! I just found the most amazing one at Nouvelle.. online. It is comfy and doesn't rub the incision with the 2 inch band..

A word of advice..

forever 31..
I took 2 weeks of vacation to recover, I work a sedentary job ( computer, phones, and I can say I could have used another week. I am not usually a wimp, but a bit slow to recover pain wise. I am back to work now and pain free.

Hi Forever 31, Thanks for sharing the pictures. The size is great, but I see the nipples are pointing down. That is my fear that keeps me from getting a boob job. I know it is early after your procedure. Is it something that will get better over time or is there anything that could be done about it?

They are improving. I was scheduled for a mastoplexy, but during the surgery my dr decided that a lift would only raise my nipple millimeters so he felt it was not necessary. I will post some more recent pictures. I originally wanted a lift only, then decided lift and augmentation. I ended up with augmentation and I am veryy happy. If you need a lift, your surgeon would know best. Good luck!!

Thanks a lot, It is very useful. In fact I think my breasts are in great shape with nipples heading up that make them look more attractive. My only problem is the size that I would like them to be larger. I have seen many photos online from great plastic surgeons that the volume is too evenly distributed and unlike a normal breast, it is not mostly focuses on the lower areas of the breasts. I think this is the cause of the nipples pointing downwards. I look forward to seeing your future pictures and when the swelling is gone.

Breasts are settling down and are finally pain free. I know they have to finish settling. I got the go ahead from my surgeon to resume all normal activities, but I feel like I would feel better waiting until next week to exercise. I can comfortably wear a couple of bras, but I don't want to buy anything yet.
