Hello :)
Can't believe it's been an entire year! So, I proceeded a two-jaw with Dr. Myung June Oh from Regen plastic surgery. I've received the same questions from several ppl if I like the result and how I feel so far. So, I think if I like the result or not you can see from my post-op pics. In case if it's still not obvious for someone - YES, I'm very satisfied with everything! My recovery is done and I also feel great!
7 months post op results
So, my 7 months after the surgery update. Truly speaking it was the most difficult experience ever. I worried a lot about my results, about the recovery etc. but hopefully everything turned out great. I do feel great and if someone asks me like would I proceed the surgery if I knew before that it's gonna so difficult? Well, definitely yes! I think the result looks great and it worth few months to suffer :)
Suffered a Lot, but It Definitely Worth It. Sincerely Thankful to Dr.Oh Myungjune for Great Results!
Hey everyone! I proceeded my first ever plastic surgery! I can’t say that my experience was easy or smooth but the result I got definitely worth it! To be honest, I didn’t know which procedure I needed from the very beginning and wasn’t sure with whom I want to proceed it, so in my list were 2 places – TL and REGEN.
I knew my main issue – too prolonged chin and asymmetrical face. When I was at TL, I was suggested to get a jaw surgery done but at REGEN Dr.Oh recommended to proceed two-jaw instead. On our first consultation, he said that the bone can be reduced by 20mm if I proceed two-jaw, which whould make my face look way more symmetrical. But if I proceed jaw surgery only, there would be lot of limitations. So, I ended up with REGEN and Dr.Oh. After our consultation about a week was needed for a facebow and wafer making, once everything was ready I came back for final pre-op consultation and design. The same day were installed wires on my teeth. The surgery was scheduled the followed day.
I have no idea how the surgery went but when I woke up, I felt terrible, with headache and pain and tightens inside my mouth already with wafer and tied with rubber bands through early installed wires teeth. The first night was the worst… Well, the second perhaps wasn’t any easier, to be honest. By the time I was discharged, swelling and bruising reached the peak. Few days after I was told to come for a followup. On day 7 everything hurt so much that even painkillers didn’t help. I tried to bear but couldn’t and came back to REGEN, to see if everything was ok. I thought, maybe it was because of the rubber bands were too tight, so I asked to loosen them a bit. Hopefully, everything was alright, just my pain level was too low. The next follow up was supposed to be on day 14 but I couldn’t come and asked if it’s possible to proceed everything on day 12, for which was said that my healing as well as recovery process didn’t go that good, so was advised to come even later – 15 days after the surgery. That day stitches were removed and I also was instructed hot to change rubber bands myself, which is actually a self-tie.
The next day after stitches removal swelling became even worse and I also had terrible pain. Went to the clinic again, but everything was fine. A month after had to come back with my wafer, but missed that follow up again. Moreover, I broke the wafer, so there was nothing to bring. On my after a month consultation with Dr.Oh he explained my plan for self-tie for the next 2 months after which I came for my final follow up. Everything healed by now and wires were removed.
I had to eat special food for more than 1 month but now I’m trying to eat everything little by little. So far, it wasn’t an easy way for me at all, but I’m glad I could bear everything and beyond satisfied how the result came out.
