Hello it has been 7 months since my two jaw Surgery with Dr oh and illegal v line shaving and genioplasty
Again he pushed my jaws so backward he compressed my airway and I was diagnosed with severe obstructive sleep apnea in May and have needed an cpap machine to breathe properly at night. If I don’t use it I will be at risk for heart attack, stroke, atrial fibrillation, car accidents , diabetes , heart failure.
since April I asked for my records and since February I asked for my refund
All they said was you’re swollen
Well I’m not swollen anymore and I definitely have severe obstructive sleep apnea which multiple surgeons have said was caused my Dr Oh
suyen first said on April 24 they are preparing my paperwork , then it she said the person who prepares it is it working due to virus , then she said it’s not available and she doesn’t know when it will be then she ignored me and still read all the messages including me telling her I have severe obstructive sleep apnea, which she responded once “I will ask him” I said ask him what it’s a fact I have osa then she ignored again and I said I badly need my documents to help me breathe for my revision surgery. And that it is an extremely difficult revision because he shaved off so much of my jawline illegally

I was shocked at her message! I thought she was gong to say she’s sorry and give me my records but no Dr Oh has no remorse he’s trying to gaslight me. I’m not a bully he’s the bully he is withholding my medical documents !
I have a right to tell the truth about what has happened to me on RealSelf here and any forum that I want to help others people avoid them!
This is what I replied and it’s been 1 week and Suyen has read the message and I gave them time to respond but no response
You did not make time for Dr. Oh to talk to me, I asked you everyday until I told you I was putting a review up in 24 hrs so you finally let me talk to him and he did not acknowledge any wrongdoing and instead yelled at me to spend him double the amount I paid because I will look good.
I felt my efforts were genuine and within industry standard for a patient having this many obvious issues after what appears to be a procedure that has a more than undesirable outcome.
I have and again am requesting all of my charts. I need my charts for my revision surgery after a detrimental and seriously undesirable outcome from your practice. I am having serious trouble breathing and severe obstructive sleep apnea, and disfigurement all of which you caused. I would like to get my money back to pursue treatment to fix your mistake and need my records for retreatment as well
I want to engage in a productive conversation. I want to resolve this issue and move on with my life.
You have caused me emotional and psychological distress but even more a serious medical condition.”
Please everyone do not go to Dr Oh or Regen or deal with Suyen !

Also the only time they made an effort to manage for me to talk to Dr Oh was in February when I was having difficulty with
My wires and gum bleeding . I was going to write a review on RealSelf in 24 hrs if he didn’t talk to me. Suyen wouldn’t let me talk to him she said it’s not normal in Korea to talk to the surgeon. I said I need to talk to him I’m not normal! My mouth is sucked in ! My neck is really swollen. I said if you don’t let me talk to him in 24 hours the review is going up. Then she said ok can you talk now? Then he got in the phone and I said I don’t look normal and I never asked for a v line I want. My refund then he said you do look normal you are going to look so good in one year! I said no I am not I want my Refund ! Thanks for your support. I don’t know how he does either. He has no soul. All I remember before the surgery was him saying that day I designed your face to be so beautiful and worked extra hard on it because you’ll provide a review. What kind of extra hard work did he do but push my jaws so far backward and compress my airway and deform me.
I’m still shocked he called me a “bully”

Hi Marylee23,
Dr Myung June Oh is a famous plastic surgeon in South Korea. He was on Let Me In. I read on the Internet that if you paid a very low price or it's a disreputable clinic, then a shadow doctor or a trainee could be doing the surgery in lieu of the well-known surgeon. You should check with Regen that a shadow doctor did not operate on your jaw.
I knew a person that had sleep apnea and he uses the Philips DreamStation. His health insurance pays for it. He throws the tube over the headboard so it doesn't get in the way when he sleeps. I was tested for sleep apnea as well but my test came back negative.
Perhaps you should consider seeing an ENT doctor. He or she may prescribe you an oral appliance to move your jaw forward, so you can breathe better when you sleep. Also, after your orthognathic surgery in America, if you still snore when you sleep, an ENT doctor could use radio frequency to cauterize your throat area to remove the loose flabby tissue. However, your uvula will be gone though. I am not sure whether you will accept that tradeoff. The recovery period can last several months and can be very painful, akin to a large lingering canker sore in the throat area.
If you were to embark on orthodontics, after your treatment, you need to wear your retainer indefinitely. My orthodontist prescribe that I wear mine nightly. If you lapse in wearing your retainer, your teeth will move. Some people go though 3 to 4 treatments over their lifetime because they don't wear their retainer.

I didn't pay a low price it was 25,000 and gave him 2500 in cash for "face bow" metal device to do measurements. In American they use VIrtual surgical planning, not pencil and paper and a ruler. He is very unprofessional and rude.
I need my whole jaw moved forward I have a convex profile and my airway is compressed. I don't look normal.
I dont have fatty tissue on my throat I am 95 lbs.
I have to get orthodontics before braces.
Dr. Oh doesn't even know how to do jaw surgery and his license is suspsended.

I have had a few consultations now to get the best advice.
The surgeon reviewed my ct scans before and after and said Dr. Oh moved my upper and lower jaws back by 14 mm!!! Dr. oh told me 6.5 mm for both ! He’s such a big liar ! What the heck was he doing? You’re only supposed to be be off by 1 mm
The surgeon also said my chin was moved 7 mm and My jawline shaved 5 mm
I hate Dr. Oh
Also dr oh detached my nose from My maxilla so it’s wider and even with an alar cinch it can revert in 6 months so I’ll have a wide nose with flared nostrils !
Again avoid dr oh he’s a crook

Thanks , I don’t feel it I have been truly harmed it’s the truth and many surgeons have confirmed dr oh CAused me obstructive sleep apnea , disfigurement and illegaly shaved my jaws

When people are severely harmed, they ask for questions. So the house can explain their situation better.
Also suing from one country to the next isn’t easy but is not impossible.
