Soooo.....I had labiaplasty and I am super thrilled with the results! After looking at the doctors reviews and before and after photos, and especially upon meeting him, I knew that he was going to be the perfect doctor for this procedure. So, I wanted to let anyone know who is planning on getting the procedure done a little bit about how it works. First, I chose to be put to sleep. I have full faith that the doctor would’ve done an amazing job had I’ve been awake, but I have a weird thing where I like to be put to sleep ha ha. Upon waking up, I did have to use the restroom. It did not hurt to pee, I was just afraid to. In fact, throughout the entire healing process it did not hurt to pee and that was one of my main concerns. For me personally, the pain was pretty darn bad the first night and trailed off over the next few nights. I really recommend taking at least six days off work. I also wanna let you know, your netherland region will look like it was put in a hamburger processor for the first few days. That is normal, as is a ton of swelling. During the healing process, you’ll start to notice when it starts looking really nice. But hold onto your panties, because it’s going to look even more amazing as it continues to heal. Like me, you will probably start to wonder when the stitches are going to dissolve. Today I just went in for my one month post op appointment. On one side I see the stitch line a little more than the other side because the stitches have not fully dissolved. The doctor let me know that the stitches are now at the point where they will start dissolving more rapidly. I feel no pain, but I do feel slightly nerve ending tenderness, if that makes any sense. You’ll understand what I mean when you get to this point in the healing process. I just received my glide, which is a lubricant I am supposed to put on my perfectly tiny lips (haha). Another recommendation, the daughter gives you a little squirt bottle to missed your loins with water after you use the restroom. You may want to be careful with this as the pressure from the mist can actually hurt a little bit. You may want to try a few squirt bottles before you have the procedure done to find one that mists really softly. But maybe I’m just a big baby LOL. So, overall, it was an amazing experience! Dr. Oppenheimer was absolutely amazing, definitely the best doctor I could’ve chosen! Looking at the average cost of the procedure, it looks as if I paid a couple thousand more going to him. Don’t make the mistake and go to a cheap Dr! Dr. Oppenheimer was worth every penny! I don’t know if this allows people to ask questions, but if it does, please feel free to ask any questions you have about the procedure!
