36 Year Old, Happy I Finally Did It!

36 year old born with an uneven labia minora. I noticed this from when I was a teen. Wearing certain clothing made it extremely uncomfortable. Thanks to Real Self I found Dr Oppenheimer and went for a labiaplasty consultation back in June. He and his staff were amazingly warm and made me feel instantly comfortable. Me being hesitant to make an immediate decision waited until November to make a decision. So far this was the best decision of my life. My surgery was set for Dec 9th and I was excited and anxious. On the day of my surgery everyone was amazing. I felt totally relaxed and calm. I had the procedure under local anesthesia so I was awake for the total procedure. It took about an hours time and was so easy and painless that I couldn't believe I waited as long as I did to have this done! I have to say that Dr Oppenheimer's bedside manner was amazing. He listened to my concerns and made me feel comfortable for one of the most personal procedures a woman could have. After surgery I went home and followed Dr's orders and iced and kept the area elevated. My best advise for this procedure is lots of ice. I never had any pain so I didn't need any pain meds, just some swelling in the area which is expected. I had my follow up visit on the Tuesday after the procedure and was told everything was healing well. I did have one concern last Saturday evening so I sent Christina a text. She responded immediately and called me in a prescription immediately. I couldn't believe how fast and caring she was. I've never had such a caring feeling from any Dr's office. I want in on Monday and was reassured that my healing was completely on track and everything was looking great. Today is day 14 and I barely feel anything almost like nothing happened. I highly recommend Dr Oppenheimer and his team. I have a few additional procedures that I am interested in and I will be booking them on my next follow up visit in January.
