I took my own fat and placed into my chin and smile lines. I have always loved the way I looked, but my smile lines were just a little too deep. After three months, your body absorbs some of the fat, and it's not as prominent as fresh out of surgery, but it is def an improvement. I don't regret it!

Hey, you look so pretty!! :)
I got buccal fat removal done and I hate the results so much. I'm gonna go through a fat transfer to reverse it and would like to ask you a few questions..
Does the fat feel normal to touch? Do you feel like the transplanted fat is "heavier" than the facial fat?
Also, where did you take the fat from?
I feel really bad cause I didn't even ask for the fat to be removed (my surgeon decided to do it during my rhinoplasty) and now I look older :( I would like to reverse it permanently but I keep reading horror stories about fat transfer.. How many ccs did you get injected?
Thank you!

I had to stop working out and gain a little weight prior to surgery to have the fat removed. I had approx 4 ml, I believe, removed from my lower back. It was injected vertically to smile lines and into the horizontal crease in my chin. At first, if you touched my face it felt like small ropes were implanted, and I couldn't smile all the way. After a few weeks when the fat settled, it felt like the rest of my face. Omg gosh, wow, I can't believe your Dr did that without your permission. I'm terribly sorry! I hope you find someone to make you happy with your next results. You deserve to be astonished everytime you look in the mirror!

Dear Sinda, would you be able to post a picture where you're not smiling? I can't see a difference, since smile lines are visible even in children when smiling. As your doctor stated below already, they're nice selfies but unfortunately not useful as before and afters.

If you let me know how to add more pics on here, I'll def add some.

I don´t see any difference and for 2,500 some offer the whole face.

I didn't need my whole face done, but what facility offers that price?

Was your procedure done with a local or general anesthesia?

Local, I was awake during the procedure. I took an Ativan before leaving my home, and one upon arrival.

Additional procedures needed

This procedure of natural fill didn't last as long as I had hoped for. I went back in early 2017, about a year later, and had synthetic fillers put in my smile line and chin. That lasted much longer than my own body fat. It is now spring of 2019, and I am starting to notice that I will need a touch up soon.
