I think this procedure is a bit of a scam. When I first read about it, you only had to do it once. Then they said twice in order to get good results. It really did nothing. (I know my "after" pics look like it worked, but I took the pics on one of those magical days when you get up and for some unknown reason your stomach is much smaller. It went right back to how it was.) It did not destroy at cells. Just made my wallet skinnier!

did you wear the compression garment for at least 2 to 4 weeks without fail? Did you massage the treated area for at last 20 minutes everyday for the first two to four weeks? if not then the results will show, or rather not show :)., Sorry, but Coolsculpting actually is proven to work, provided you are a candidate and the protocol was followed as prescribed. It is not a weight loss procedure, just gets rid of stubborn fat pockets. If your practitioner failed to massage the treated area immediate after taking off the tip for 2 minutes straight and with great intensity, ( meaning it is suppose to hurt), then again that can affect the success of the treatment. It is unfortunate :(

I just got the treatment this week and I'm on day 5. My nurse never mentioned wearing a compression garment for 2-4 weeks or massaging the area 20 minutes a day. =(

I went to Dr Soto (well, saw Bridgette like you), and my results were slight but noticeable, mostly because she asked me exactly what I wanted. I actually regretted the decision to do it in a triangle to make it look like I had a more "cut" and "sculpted" stomach because that's just not a realistic look for my body (I tend to have a "soft" look, even when I am under weight and muscular). I think if I had just done the horizontal position, it would be less noticeable and more in line with what my body looks like. All of this to say is that I truly believe the results of coolsculpting depend on the placement of the suction area and the outcome you're hoping for... perhaps you have a stomach that already looks more sculpted (e.g. A Cameron Diaz type stomach, even if not necessarily that thin?) rather than a "soft" stomach with evenly distributed fat (e.g. A Kate Upton stomach)? I don't know, just a gut feeling after having it done :).

Ehhh...

Well, it's now March. That's four months. I've heard that it takes three to four months to show the results. And my results? Ehhhh.

I've really been working out and for the most part eating well. I've lost inches and toned up on every part of my body EXCEPT my stomach! Some days it's down and looking good, and then other days it's quite a little pooch. The pics from a week and a half after my procedure are what it looks like on a good day. I don't know what the heck is going on - it's up and down day by day!

My husband is now saying he sees no difference. I agree, for the most part.

I really think that people get good results from this procedure because they've spent a bunch of money on it and thus commit themselves to it. So they are much more aware of what they eat and how they exercise, which usually has good consequences.

Is it worth it? Meh. I won't say it definitely is, and I won't say it's definitely not. I'm not sure I'd recommend it to a friend, though.

I'm very interested in seeing how yours turns out. This is the first time I've seen them placed in a triangle.

Yes - I hadn't seen that on any of the other reviews. The assistant who did it said that it was good because the sections overlapped and would pull fat in from the surrounding areas - thus giving a sort of double dose!
