So I was able to get 3 different dr appointments today. The first doctor said my breasts were infected and I would probably need emergency surgery today but deferred all additional questions the doctor who did the surgery. She did give me an antibiotic. She also said she couldn't give a script for blood work, but the reasons, I did not understand.

From there, we called the doctor's office who did the surgery. They basically refused to see me. They said there is nothing to worry about, and it is all normal. When we questioned them about the other doctor's comments - not mine, or my husbands, the nurse put us on hold, and when she came back, again said not to worry. ONLY when I advised that if I need emergency surgery based on the other doctor's comments, that they would be responsible for gross negligence, did they agree to see me.

From there, I went to another doctor for a 3rd opinion. He said it was not normal for it to be as red as it is, but that there does not appear to be any signs of infection, puss, etc. SOOO confused.

Leaving this doctor, I went to the surgeons office. Talk about a transformation. As soon as I walked in, I was treated like a Queen - like Royalty appeared. Of course, this is Florida, so it is not hard to be treated like crap... Anyways, quickly attended to. They definitely wanted me in and out. They also said no major infection, something about the 2nd layer of skin, etc... but no emergency surgery.

I explained that it is ridiculous to have to beg for an appointment or to be seen by anyone but a nurse. They apologized profusely and said that they'll review their procedures.

I don't know who is full of it, or if you ask 3 doctors and you'll get 4 opinions based on how you ask the question. I guess the redness is "normal". Oh, they did say they are waiting for information from the glue company because of an increased number of patients with redness. I think Class action lawsuit is coming.

So, if I die over the weekend from infection, I have nobody to blame but the doctors/nurses at the office. I have done all I can to seek treatment, answer questions, etc. I know I am just a number to them, and the more times I am in there, I impact their bottom line.

I will update as needed.

Redness

So for the last 10 days my breats have been RED, HOT, and ITCHY. Drs said it was first an allergy, and now they are unsure but refuse to do bloodwork or anything else. They tell me I need to wait.

I asked what would happen if I die and they simply shrugged their shoulders. They could care less about me.

So I had breast reduction where they took out...

So I had breast reduction where they took out almost 500cc from each side. Surgery was in June, and went relatively well. The doctor put in drains which caused me lots of pain and discomfort. The right tube had to stay in longer because it was still pulling out lots of liquid. My breasts look uneven. My nipple looks like it was turned sideways. I am not sure what the final-final results will look like as it may take, from what everyone has been telling me 6+ months for swelling to go down.

I do hope that the surgery will help with my back problems and headaches.
