WORTH IT
In December 2014, I was diagnosed with two types of breast tumors that could ultimately kill me. I was working with a breast surgeon in my area to plan out the steps of recovery. It has been a very physical and emotional road, but I am gratefully on the other end. Within the last 9 months, I have had 20+ doctor visits, 40 days of leave from my job, 2 surgeries (plus, another to think of), and 2 amazing surgeons along with my partner by my side. It has been frustrating, exhausting, and complete torture at times. But I can say that it has also been empowering, motivational, and I have met my angels through this. There were more tumors than I could imagine and they had stretched my breasts from a 34B to a 36F-G within 2 years. I am forever grateful & appreciative for the people that have stepped up to fight this fight with me. The long photo on the right is from Sept 2014, top right photo is from 5 weeks after the double mastectomy, and bottom right is from 6 weeks after the reconstruction.

Amazing, thank you for sharing!
What size did you decide to go with for your reconstruction? Where are you in your healing process? Are you back to doing your normal routine?
We decided to go with 425cc in ea (about a 36C). And I'm just 6 weeks out from my reconstruction. I have some limitations on how much i should be picking up and working out. But honestly, I'm almost back to everything I did before!
