I still need at least 2 more surgeries to try and fix the damage caused by an unqualified surgeon. My left lower lid has extensive damage. My right lower lid droops and the outer corner is splitting.
I had corrective surgery done by an ocular plastic surgeon at Yale. She will also be doing at least 2 more surgeries to correct the damage.

Thanks! I had planned to have my revision last year but the pandemic hit then I needed shoulder surgery so it didn’t happen. My eyes have gotten much worse and I have a serious case of dry eye. I will be going back to Yale later this year and have the ocular plastic surgeon perform my next revision. And no I never heard back from the “surgeon” who botched my eyes beyond repair. I can’t stress enough how important it is to have an ocular plastic surgeon perform eye surgery.

Well actually I had a supposedly top ocuplastic surgeon perform my blepharoplasty and he made a bit of mess of it. Thankfully, I found a truly outstanding aesthetic surgeon and he has corrected it as well as he can. So, it can be the other way round too!

Dr Sohrab will be performing reconstructive surgery on my left eye next month. Two weeks later I will have the right eye surgery. Both done at Yale under general anesthesia.

I had my left eye repair surgery Monday. It went well and I expect a very good outcome. Dr Sohrab is a fantastic ocular plastic surgeon. I will be having the right eye surgery n 6/18.

Thank you. I had my left eye surgery on Monday. So far so good and Dr Sohrab is pleased. My right eye surgery is June 18. I will post a separate review with pictures after that surgery.

Unfortunately my eye surgery was not successful and I now require additional surgery to repair the damage. I will chose an ocular plastic surgery this time.

Go to Guy Massry in LA or Robert M Schwarcz in NY. Don't chose someone based on location.

My insurance may cover the surgery so I am consulting ocular plastic surgeons who accept my plan.

Well be careful who you go to, if they mess it up it will be harder and harder to fix.

I will be having reconstructive surgery on at Yale by Dr Sohrab ocular plastic surgeon next month. My insurance will be paying for it as it is medically necessary. I would urge anyone who is contemplating eye surgery to consult with an ocular plastic surgeon.

I am so sorry you went thru a lot. I read about Dr. Guy Massary and how successful some people get lower lid retraction with him, probably you could try ask him
