Excellent care and results

Excellent. Every visit re-affirms my choice of Dr. Sadati as my surgeon. He is detail oriented and gives sage advice. I'm 8 weeks post-op and healing perfectly. I followed his advice pre and post op and have had no trouble at all. The results are very natural, I look the best I've looked in years without looking "pulled" at al.

Overall rating

I've had an excellent experience with Dr. Sadati. I researched for months, doctors both in Orange and L.A. counties, before choosing Dr. Sadati. He developed and perfected a "natural facelift" technique for the lower half of the face, which is exactly what I wanted. Also hugely important, NO general anesthesia! Only Twilight Sleep (which was great, see below). Of course I checked for board certifications, etc. but to be honest it was the before and after photos on the website that made him my first choice to meet for a consult. Everyone looked like a younger, more energized version of their own self, which is what I wanted. During the consult he took a significant amount of time, explaining in every detail exactly what would be done, how, what would happen before, during and after. At the end of the consult I couldn't think of one question he hadn't answered! We spent at least an hour together, and I knew he was really invested in me as a patient and in getting a positive, natural, quick-healing outcome. The surgery was not a bit scary, because Dr. Sadati is an earnest, engaged physician who takes plenty of time to connect before that day, and is generally a warm, calming presence. I woke up and felt fine - none of the usual post-op dizzy, queasy stuff that happens with general anesthesia. The first night wasn't bad! I did take Tylenol the first night, but that was it. The next morning I went back in for them to peek and make sure all was well and change the wrapping. It's been one week and I went back today to get the stitches out (that didn't hurt either). I have almost no swelling and a tiny bit of bruising. Nothing hurts. My neck feels quite tight which is perfectly normal. I should point out that I have followed all the pre and post-op instructions like a religion, and made sure to eat nutritiously and drink lots of water in the weeks prior to the surgery. I think that really helped. Dr. Sadati is a very skilled surgeon. I can barely see where the stitches were (remember, one week out!) I've already been told by several people that I look amazing. My husband was out of town (he knew I was going forward and we had a friend take me) when I had this done so I was quite nervous about his reaction. He walked in the door and said, "You look hot!" Which is pretty great since I just turned 57.. before the surgery I looked at least 15 years older and tired. Now I look on the outside just the way I feel on the inside - yay! Amazingly smooth experience, basically pain free, and I'm thrilled with the result.
