I am a mother of four, biological mother of two....

WORTH IT$9,450

I am a mother of four, biological mother of two. My first pregnancy I started heavy.. And just got heavier. My second I started ahead of the game as I had lost all the baby weight and then some.. But have struggled to get rid of this "spare tire" the last year. I am 5'2 and I currently weigh 140lbs. My goal by surgery date is to be down to 135. I've considered having a tummy tuck since after my first was born. His father and I split 13 months later and I was feeling especially low. I lost all the weight and was a "new me" by my sons 2nd birthday. I remarried and gave birth to my second in late 2011.
I had a consultation with bui yesterday for breast aug. and tummy tuck. He was so awesome that I booked my surgery date right then and am incredibly nervous. Part of me feels selfish for spending so much on myself and knowing my recovery will have me down for a minimum of 2 weeks.. But the other part of me is sooo excited!!!

You deserve it!!! Do it while you're still young. My surgery is 4/16! But my kids are 35 and 30! I got beautiful breasts this year due to mastectomy, now I have to have the tummy to match. See you on the flat side!

So, I am a hairstylist and have been talking to some of my clients.. They all say that since I have had c sections and recovered well that my TT recovery should be about the same. (Minus the standing straight thing..) I have been doing a lot of homework and researching.. Which may be worse, as now I am queasy at the thought of drain tubes. My husband keeps telling me to calm down and stop stressing.. Ughhh. Lol.

Well, as I sit today I am 5 days away from making the final payment on this work and 18 days away from surgery. I have gotten past some of the initial shock of what I'm about to do.. Although the guilt is still with me. My husband is incredible though and has been insanely supportive of this decision. He is constantly telling me that it's all gonna be ok.. Last night was the first night I wasnt up researching, looking at pictures and stressing myself out. Lol.. To say I'm a worrier and a planner is an understatement. Still excited though and looking forward to having some boobies and a flatter tummy! Lol

I am 6 days away and still spend WAY too much time reading posts and looking at pics, etc. ill be glad to be on the other side so I can give all that a real and concentrate on recovery. Long story short, you're not alone, I do it too! The money is bugging me too, but now that surgery is so close, I couldn't get it back if I wanted to. So, it's on! Try not to stress too much, advice I am also trying to follow...

Ahhh!!! I am SO excited for you!!! I can't wait to see and hear how you are doing!! I hope a speedy recovery for you. I don't know if it is anything you have looked into but I was told to start taking arnica Montana 1 week before my surgery and two weeks after. It helps with bruising and sore muscles. I bought it at the local health food store. (:

yes, I have heard that. I bought it and am going to start taking it tomorrow. I hear 4-5 days prior is plenty. I also purchased Bromelain that I'll start the day before for inflammation. PS said that they were both ok.
