Best decision of my life!!!
I'm healing very well and feeling great! I've resumed my workouts and have most of my stamina back. Still taking it a bit easy but more motivated than ever to eat healthy and tone up everywhere.
I still have some swelling by the end of the day but I love love love how tight and flat my tummy is first thing in the morning!! My stomach muscles are still tight and it's a little uncomfortable, like I've done 1000 sit ups and I have a few minor tender spots on my left side under the breast near the outer incision and areolas but not bad at all. The scars are thin and straight and fading slowly. Right on schedule. I know how lucky I have been to have had a really easy, textbook recovery and I don't take that for granted.
I'm truly grateful to my doctor and his attention to detail. He gave me exactly what I wanted. He's a skilled, warm, humble surgeon... With masterful technique. His staff is great too.
I am a changed woman!! Definitely on the outside but even more so from within. I'm in love with me again... Shoot possibly for the first time ever. I never expected to be so happy from this surgery and it's only getting better as the days go by. Can't wait until the scars fade some more and maybe I'll wear a bikini this summer for the first time in my life?!?
