I would like to write this review for two reasons. The first, to thank Dr.Shortt and his staff for the outstanding care I received from them during my recent procedure and secondly, for anyone who maybe considering cosmetic or reconstructive surgery, this is the doctor that you should request! From my initial meeting with Dr.Shortt I was instantly impressed by his professionalism, likeable demeanour and his wealth of knowledge. He makes you feel comfortable and thoroughly explains the procedure, including any risks that might be involved and offers his honest opinion and suggestions. Dr. Shortt does not treat you like a number but rather, a patient that he truly cares about. Following my procedure Dr. Shortt took the time out of his busy schedule to personally phone me directly to ask me how I was feeling the day after my surgery. I don’t know of many doctors who would take the time to personally reach out to their patient. He is a perfectionist and makes sure that you are 100% completely satisfied with your results. I highly recommend this talented surgeon, not only for his skills, but for his caring and compassionate demeanour. He is truly passionate about what he does and it shows.
