8 weeks post op, feeling good!! Incision is all healed aside from a spot that still had a scab. At about 6 weeks I had some internal stitches trying to spit out and that was scary as I had probably 6 open but superficial spots on my incision line. I went back to my doctor and they pulled them and within a week I was healing nicely. I am now able to stay using my homemade tummy tuck/scar lotion so I'm excited to see how that will help the scar.

I notice that I've still some swelling, especially in the flank area and I'm still pretty numb in the hips, abdomen and back but feeling is returning. Swelling at the end of the day is always a bummer, I feel huge but I just have to remember that I'm not done healing yet!! Wearing my compression garment helps a lot. I can do just about anything now without feeling pain or uncomfortableness.

Well it's been a couple weeks since I updated this! I'm doing great, healing nicely and couldn't be happier with the results! My belly button is staying to sluff of the black scab, much like a newborn belly button, kinda gross but I'm sure it'll look amazing when all done! I'm able to stand up a bit straighter, the bruising from the lipo has turned mostly to that yellow green bruising and moving downward. Feeling has come back in my thighs and that has caused a restless feeling when I go to sleep at night but nothing a couple Tylenol PM can't fix. Swelling has gone down quite a bit and I'm impressed every day I look in the mirror. I'm still wearing the binder as well as support hose or spanx. I feel held together better if I have those on. Today I get my first drain out and hopefully two or three days later the other will come out! Super happy with the results so far and getting excited to see more results!!

Well today is day 5! And by far the best feeling day I've had. I'm able to walk better and get around much easier. I stopped taking the pain meds yesterday and am really surprised at how well I feel! I am so glad I had this procedure done.
