This is something I have wanted for about seven...
WORTH IT$8,990
This is something I have wanted for about seven years, since my only child was born. I gained 80 lbs with him, then list all the weight but over the past couple years have fluctuated about 30lbs. Needless to say, I had some stretched out day skin with stretch marks and fat deposits around the area where my muscles were stretched out. I was finally at a place in my life where work and financials came together to support this surgery, so here I am! I was super nervous for this surgery, the regular worries about whether I'd feel anything, what if the anesthesia wore off, etc... But I had my mom come help take care of me, which was a great decision. Sometimes it's nice to have mom there no matter how old you are.
I have such a high tolerance for medication and supplements that the original pain medication given didn't even touch the pain, so luckily the next day they issued me a new scrip and it had seemed to help more. Note that I can gauge how much pain I'm in, I'm starting to go longer periods of time without medications because I don't want to get constipated and feel goofy the whole time. I was really surprised that I got so nauseous. It takes a miracle for me to every get sick and I've gotten sick twice in the past two days, I also attribute it to the fact that I haven't been able to eat much of anything and with the meds, if you don't eat you will get nauseous. Pudding and saltines have been good to keep down and today I actually got down some broccoli and soup.
Regardless of the pain and inconvenience of this, it is so worth it! I was amazed at the results after only one day and I'm so excited to see how I'll look after another month or two!!

Day 5 PO
Well today is day 5! And by far the best feeling day I've had. I'm able to walk better and get around much easier. I stopped taking the pain meds yesterday and am really surprised at how well I feel! I am so glad I had this procedure done.

Well it's been a couple weeks since I updated this! I'm doing great, healing nicely and couldn't be happier with the results! My belly button is staying to sluff of the black scab, much like a newborn belly button, kinda gross but I'm sure it'll look amazing when all done! I'm able to stand up a bit straighter, the bruising from the lipo has turned mostly to that yellow green bruising and moving downward. Feeling has come back in my thighs and that has caused a restless feeling when I go to sleep at night but nothing a couple Tylenol PM can't fix. Swelling has gone down quite a bit and I'm impressed every day I look in the mirror. I'm still wearing the binder as well as support hose or spanx. I feel held together better if I have those on. Today I get my first drain out and hopefully two or three days later the other will come out! Super happy with the results so far and getting excited to see more results!!
